Pretty cool but i don't see why he didn't just use foam inserts (like pelican cases) glued to the inside and covered as opposed to the expanding foam? Seem like it would have been a lot less messy.

I'm actually doing something similar with my old guitar case, but I'm using foam inserts as was suggested above. Nothing major, just an AR and a couple of mags. I just picked up a "left-over" case from work, it was one of the factory cases that Auto Ordnance sends with the high-grade Thompson carbines. So I'll probably set that one up for my SBR whenever I finally get my receiver and stamp.

my grandfather bought a tommy gun and kept it in a guitar case, his wife thought it had a guitar in it till she tried to pick it up. BTW it was a new one and not a full auto.
