The group in the head were the first pulls on the first mag. After 100 rounds I had the rear sight adjusted to be dead on. Excellent weapon, excellent trigger pull, and I actually like the sights (for now). Ran flawless for 500 rounds with the cheap Springfield mags.

And got my free gift today from the NRA.

10-12 yards? I had my back against the wall with the target all the way forward...maybe 15. Remember those were my first shots from a new weapon...I didn't take any pictures of the other 3 targets after the sights were set. I'm headed to GnL again today to run a few more through it.

Cap.. every gun will out shoot you.. you just have to alight the sights and have a smooth trigger pull to make it go in the right direction. As the old saying goes.. "It's the nut behind the buttplate".

Ok guys, I went again today. This is the 2nd target with 1 magazine full (7 round'er) at the length of the range.

My reloads (Horndy HP 230 grain with Unique 8 grains) and the sights adjusted yesterday.

This is a out-of-the-box Range Officer with no mods....797.00 dollar gun, she shoots like a custom.

Were you able to get it at your local gun shop for that price or hunted it down on gunbroker or other sites? I rather be able to see it and handle it before buying something in this price range.
