Hello all. Im Sam and i was just referred here by a fellow gun freak. I am a full time engineer and part time shade tree gun guru (notice i diddnt say gunsmith). One of my projects that im proudest of is my saiga .223 conversion i just finished. Another is my glock 22c race gun (chambered in.357 sig). I am a retired Navy Corpsman and have been shooting my whole life. I just got into reloading a few weeks ago, ironically enough. Now that is quickly becoming my passion.

I graduated from UOM with a BS in Psych with a minor in English. I have been working in operations engineering for 13 years. So as i do not have a formal Engineering degree, i can honestly say that i graduated from the hard-knocks school of engineering. Only reason i have a psych degree is that it got me out of school quicker. I worked my way through school (in engineering) so that i could graduate with a degree i will forseeably never use. thats the short end of the story. My specialty is critical HVAC environments.
