A Million Man Carry March?

Recommended Posts

The idea sounds well intentioned - but I think it would have exactly the opposite effect than the one desired.

I agree...sounds good on paper, but you know there will be that one moron in the group that's gonna get careless! Remember the January Chilhowee show when the super genious decide to illegally bring in a loaded pistol & while showing off his Kimber's safety; installed a hole in his hand? All it takes is one guy to ruin for the rest of us.

“Carrying†is not in the hands of the Feds; it’s in the hands of the state. The idea of a gathering in Tennessee has been kicked around before.

If you had a good turnout it would be great to give our legislators a visual of the support; if you have a handful of people show up it would suck.

If the press were to show up I doubt they would be looking for the articulate, average HCP holder. I think they would seek out and interview the most bizarre looking mall Ninja type that would ramble on about stuff they know very little about.

Hmm.. unlike other "million" man marches I don't see this having a turnout. Too many folks that support the 2nd Amendment have jobs.

Exactly. All these protests and demonstrations from the left are unmatched from the conservative side BECAUSE WE ALL HAVE JOBS!! Someone has to pay for their welfare check while they're out protesting.

i took time to go to the "Second Amendment march" if anyone remembers that. Very small turnout. Very disappointing. If you could really get even half a million it would be a great thing, but I doubt that will happen.
