That's not all there is to it. Can't carry on the Marxist vision if all the Demwits get thrown out of congress. Gun bans can easily make that happen.

True. The shade of blue/red of the House and Senate will have an effect on what O thinks he can get away with. However, there is no telling what he might pull after the 2014 mid-terms.

Todd Akin even has a good chance of beating Claire McCaskill in MO. His race is starting to close in on her. She

has a lot of skeletons out of the closet just in time for Halloween.

Yup, and the choice is VERY clear. I think our political Christmas will be very good this year!

Just want to point out Obama can do executive orders after he loses the election, too. Hopefully Romney would undo them.

Yes, that's true, and I'm sure he'd love to go berzerk with them. However, EO's take 60 days to kick in and in 74 days he would be gone. Congress/Senate would most likely be able to eliminate any petty EO's that he tried to issue after losing.

that Sig is whispering to me each time I buy a gallon of milk at Walmart. Buy me, take me home, buy me, take me home, i need love, i need TLC.

Haha.. I had no idea Walmart was selling the same Sig (M400 Enhanced) I bought until tonight. I found it on Gunbroker. It worked out after shipping/FLL to be about the same amount as I would have paid had I bought it at Walmart, and I'd much rather give a gun store my money instead of Walmart. Therefore I am happy :)

God, I hope so. We need a break from this stuff. Then maybe we can fix the Republicans. Plenty of work

left to do there, also.

At least I'll get to see my son. I'm worried he may turn into a German if he doesn't come

home, soon.

Aah. Christmas will be good.

It appears to be a war on ads and the libs are going to have to change their mud strategy to something else

with the Libya stuff flying in their face.

Glad the NRA is in on it.

I gave some to the Republican College crowd last night. They are working hard on the campuses to keep the

radicals down. Got to get to the young 'ens, too. The libs are all over them.

By Libs do you mean Romney? He is no better than Obama. How the hell he got the nomoination baffles me.

He is worse on the 2nd amendmnt than Obama and his health care policy is what Obamacare was modeled after.

WTF is wrong with the republican populace this year?

I am sad to call myself a republican at this point.

The Republiacn party is an embarassment.

The Republican party is an embarrassment.

We got stuck with Romney, who is basically a Progressive Republican. So was John McCain. The party elitists are controlling who we get.

If folks ever notice, we never really get any restoration after a lot of big government (socialistic) changes that the Democrats make. We just get a smaller slower dose of what the Dems do when we have a Republican now.

Remember Nanci Pelosi when she said this?

"Republicans, take back your party so the elections don't matter so much." She said that because the Dems were getting pissed off Republicans were waking up and sending Tea Party Conservatives and Libertarians to Washington.

This is coming from basically a Democratic Socialist.

So we need to keep a real close eye on the Rep party just as we do the Dems. Or else we'll end up with one party, Democratic Socialists.

Based on some things I read during the primaries, I think if Romney wins and we do not have RINO control in Congress, Romney will have the potential to be more Reaganesque than GWB was. I know many said GWB was more like Reagan than his dad was. Outside his War on Terror, I don't think GWB was *that* Reaganesque. (In terms of character, I think GWB was every bit the man Reagan was.)

Also, one is defined by their circumstances/situation and how they react to it/resolve it. Had we not had 9/11, GWB would have had very little "urgent" or critical work to do. He may have had more time to make more RINO mess.

If Romney wins, his task is to remove the government shackles that's grappling our economy. That's the only real solution, and he knows it. I don't think that is possible to accomplish while RINOs keep stomping on us. I think/hope the RINOs will have to get in line with common sense.

Post-Romney, or Romney 2nd term, and even further out than that, RINOs scare me. The Tea Party must keep their presence strong. RINOs are as despicable as the liberal Dems. It's like they want to be buddy-buddy with the Dems. They are just politically-correct duechebags.

Already there IMO. I do not see much difference between Romney and Obama.

I can't see myself voting for either of them.

If you don't see a difference between Romney and Obama, then vote for Gary Johnson along with the other 6 people in the US that agree with you.

When I hear people say there is no difference between Obama and Romney, I believe they're really saying I love the commie's "Hope and Change" that is fundamentally transforming America into a communist Amerika. There is nothing even close between Romney and the commie. Romney is no stinking commie.

Wrong. They're saying Romney is not conservative enough. They're not saying he's a socialist or communist.

To go a bit further, they're saying he is a big government republican. He is not in to reducing social programs. He will actually grow them and try to make them financially stable.

Most folks who are real conservatives and libertarians are sick of the increasing size of the federal government and want it trimmed down. That is less taxes and less spending after the US debt has been brought back under control.

We might get closer to a balanced budget and reduced US Debt, but we won't see the size and scope of the Federal government reduced under Romney.

I voted Ron Paul in the Primary. I have no other choice now but to vote Romney to remove Obama since there is no 3rd party that I believe can win.

I just wish folks would wake up and see the path we're on and that if we don't get a real conservative or libertarian in soon, this country is going to grow in to another big bloated oppressive top down government like many of the other countries already have.

Romney was certainly not my first choice as a nominee, but there is a HUGE difference between him and Obama. It's not all about spending habits. IMO, Obama has a much different vision for the future of this country. You only have to look as far as Jerimiah Wright, Bill Ayres and the like to know O's true beliefs. Somehow I think Romney believes in Capitalism and the free market.

The Republican Party in Tennessee is a far cry from being "Conservative". The wheelhouse is populated by the Bill Frist, Bill Haslam, Winfield Dunn, Beth Harwell and Lamar Alexander steering committee, and that group disregard for the Constitution is anything BUT Conservative.

Those facts being stated, Obama and his ilk are SO bad that voting for an Elitist, Liberal Party of Lincoln is preferable, (especially in light of the Supreme Court) as the only choice available to anyone who has hopes that the general population may at some point wake up and start getting involved.

There is a difference between what Romney says now but that is because he is a liar and will say anything he thinks people want to hear.

If you look at his record while he was a governor, he is as liberal as they come.

We did not want Romney 4 years ago and I still do not want him. He has a worse 2nd amendment record than Obama does.
