Back in 76 I did a road trip to Colorado in a Fiat X19. At that time Coors was not sold east of the Mississippi River. It was a big deal to get Coors here in the east. We bought 12 cases of Coors beer and stuffed it into every single nook and cranny of that car. Big ass party when we got back.

Been trying out some "slightly pricier" 7 year 80 proof Jim Beam. Doesn't seem bad, but still haven't figured out if it tastes any better than cheap bourbon. Different, sure. Can't say about better so far. Maybe should try to set up a blind A-B taste test between the 7 year Jim Beam and Rebel Yell or Mellow Corn.

That's assuming one consumes small enough quantities to rule out the hangover factor.
