Most interesting. As I've said before, not really a fan of ceracoat, but must admit you did a very good job. And not doing the sights leaves a nice contrast for it.

 

 

I'm not generally a fan either; but I think this color is so understated that it looks really good IMHO.  Leaving the sights and trigger black does add a nice contrast.  Might look even better with a black mag release and slide release, but I think it looks great as is.

Thanks for the positive response gentlemen.  To answer a few questions:

 

Yes, I did this myself.  It is pretty straight forward but you must take care in preparing the material to be sprayed.  I blast everything with aluminum oxide as outlined by cerakote.

 

Yes, the frame was coated as well.  only difference here is that you blast at a lower psi and heat at a lower temp so as not to distort or melt the plastic.
