Police said a clerk shot and killed a man trying to steal money. It happened at a gas station on Dallas Highway about 2 miles off Interstate 20 in Carroll County...The man died from his injuries. Police are not releasing his name but said he was 19 years old.

Things are most likely going to change criminally and civilly, and not for the better for the clerk.

Right off the bat the clerk gave up way to much information and detail to be used against him in court before consulting a criminal defense attorney. He did a public service and hope that's the end of it.

So many times these thugs will kill the clerk to eliminate the witness and that would be my defense to a good shoot. The problem is that juries are making some crazy judgments these days as I expect to see in the Zimmerman trial.
