Yeah garufa, the description says it's only a copy, and not the original. 3 mil for a copy...?

The ad says that it is the ORIGINAL copy hand typed by Schindler himself.

Back in the days of typewriters multiple copies were made of original documents using a mysterious substance known as carbon paper.

Using onion paper which is extemely thin, there may have easily been seven documents typed simultanioulsy.  In other words, it's an original copy.

Not worth 3 million to document collectors. Not even close. A Jewish person may pay that much for it, but there are documents out there signed by Washington, Lincoln, Grant, Jefferson that will never go for anywhere near a document that no one (Except a lot of Jewish people) would have ever heard of had it not been for the movie. This document is just not that historically significant.

It signifies life to the Jews it rescued from certain annihilation.  To them, that makes it worth more than rubies or gold.

Thats what I said, someone Jewish may pay that for it. Probably not. But they may.

I saw some comparisons today. They are comparing it to George Washington's personal copy of the Magna Carta, which sold for over 8 million, one of the original copies of the Constitution that sold for 21 million. Sorry if anyone disagrees, but for a historically significant document, this doesn't even compare to either of those others.

But people buy dumb stuff (This isnt dumb stuff, its an historical document, that I know), for a lot more. A $100,000 oversize diamond encrusted USDA agent badge for example.
