Out back of Lane Motor Museum in Nashville

About the biggest motor vehicle I have been next to.

Me neither and I do tires for a living. This is one I believe we'd just have to "rim it" for a ways.

How big do you think that tire is? Last time I saw one of those, was on the giant quarry trucks.

Ok, we have 265 hp at each WHEEL!!!!!! And how are we gonna get stuck...You would need a convertable top for rainy days but I am in!!!!

Thats great and all, but what about mileage? This thing has to make an abrams look like a fuel efficient car.

I love the Lane museum. 

 

They bought that as an operational vehicle. It was brought up the Cumberland river, then driven through Nashville to the museum on Murfreesboro Rd at night with utility crews and a police escort. They have a great photo album and a video of it in the museum. Last time I was there, they also had a pretty decent group of mostly foreign military vehicles.

 

If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by.
