Recieved ProTech TGO Knives!!!

Recommended Posts

Ok, I can't post pics...But received my knives just a few moments ago!

Interlude...Thanks Willis!!

They look great!! Open and close with Authority!! Good firm action. Feels great in the hand. Strong feeling frame. And great looks overall.

And for the guys who like sound effects; both open with a very distinct "Shnictk" sound. Very Wolverine-esk sound.

Just a good, solid piece of craftsmanship.

Not being a big knife person, I don't think either of these will be for carry. I have a few others that do that duty for me.

I think these will join my few really good knives that get looked at and wiped down occasionally.

The only knife I have that I would consider better than the TGO ProTech would be my Kim Breed Limited Ladder Damascus. I also have 2 of Kim's neck knives, and they are fantastic as well.

In short...I'm very well satisfied with these.

I was taking to my brother the other day ago Ted. We realized we will likely never grow out of pretending to punch one another and making explosion sounds on "impact". Kind if like laughing at a fart, I think something's are always fun no matter how old you get. Edited by TrickyNicky

"Farts are always funny!"  5 stars to whoever can tell me what recent show that was from.

Thanks HP! I've never played with a VTac, so I can't comment on that, but I do have a Shield 9 and compact and full size M&P 40s. I LOVE the Pro! Best trigger of the bunch (short of an Apex'd gun, of course) and I really dig the 5" barrel. Not only does it look completely badass, it really balances out the weight of a loaded mag in the gun. I like a big, hefty gun. The Pro is all that!

I didn't think I'd like the sights at first. It has a green fiber optic front dot, and a plain black rear. Every other gun I have is a traditional 3dot config. Once I shot it, I LOVED it! Great for IDPA... see the green on your threat; press the trigger! I thought maybe I'd be a little less accurate at the range with it... nope. I realized when shooting for accuracy I'm not looking at the dots anyway. I'm watching the relationship of the edges of the front post with the notch in the rear blade! Pretty much zero drawback for the way I shoot.

Back to the knife... love it! I may or may not have imagined today was in the future, and I may or may not have taken it to show some work buddies who are also gun and knife nuts. Oh, it also makes a handy gardening buddy for harvesting squash and hot peppers. :-)

Man! How did I miss out on that deal??? That's awesome!!

Don't feel bad.  I seem to have missed it as well.

Cool knife.  Would be better with a window punch and seat belt cuter, but still very nice.
