Glock 43

I looked at a G43 today, I have a G19 and a G26  and I like both. But putting it next to the G26, it may be thinner but I just can't justify getting the G43. I have the +2 extenders on the mags and I just plain like the feel of the G26 better. But if I didn't have the 26 that 43 would of followed me home today. :pleased:

Me too, now I have both. I like the shorter barrel of the Kahr, but I like the shorter trigger of the Glock. The Kahr's trigger is buttery smooth, but it has a lot of take-up and no good stop before the break, plus a long reset. I'm more confident with when the gun will fire with the G43's trigger.

I just read this from a  member on Glocktalk and it is so true .... " Love or hate Glocks but the ease of complete disassembly and reassembly is a marvel of engineering compared to almost all others "

That is the main reason I sold my Shield and got the G43 . I loved my Shield but thinking about ever trying to instal sights or doing a complete disassembly , I would DREAD taking off that rear sight assembly just to get the firing pin safety out . Now the only other gun I have that has the same situation as the Shield is my Ruger P-Series pistols. But they are so "bullet proof" and "tanks" that I wont have to worry about that for as long as they run good. And they are around 20 years old and still running great .

But overall , the Glock pistols have such an ease of disassembly and reassembly of ALL parts and pins that I will never carry anything else with more parts for self protection.

My EXACT thoughts. I have the 26, finger/mag extensions on 26 mags. It's hard to justify any of these smaller 9mm pistols.

If you carry IWB, the single-stack is MUCH more comfortable. If you carry IWB and tuck your shirt, they're also more concealable than their double-stack counterpart. If you do neither, then yeah, the G26 is good to go.

Yep. Those differences don't look like much on paper but they definitely feel different.
