Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. 3. I listed this in a different stock, but wasn’t getting any traction, so I figured I’d list it in factory form. Factory stock is a gen 1.3, so it’s really well reinforced, which was really the only fault for the early gen 1 Americans. I have put an adjustable cheek riser on the stock and have done the Ruger factory ACIS conversion. Will come with one Magpul magazine and the factory rotary mag. Vortex Eagle 4-16x42 in Tally direct mount rings with a Vortex bubble level. Factory top rail also included. bipod included Rifle is a consistent half MOA and I’ve taken it out to 900 yards. I can include load data for its preferred load. $600
  4. Understandable looking to spend 250 max
  5. I would rather have folding dead Presidents than Gold, Silver or Diamonds. Also I am no in the market for any new firearms but it's nice to know about the hot guns.
  6. if someone is thinking no big deal, I can send it in to be fixed if its one with a problem, I’ll caution against it. Two factors. First, the CS agents limited ability to communicate the problem to the service department. They have a limited number of boxes them can check for reported issues. Forcing cone fit or end play fall under “canted barrel” from my last rodeo. So the actual problem may not be worked on. I included a letter with pictures of feeler gauges showing the gap…but no dice. CS confirmed they usually disregard. Second, the service is not good with revolvers in general. While I’m sure there may be some capable revolver smiths there, it’s a crap shoot if one of them gets your gun. My last two trips did not. So nothing done other than removing a not canted barrel and it coming back a hair overlocked with (still) out of spec forcing cone fit and end play. They did make the trigger better, so guess there was that bonus

  8. I agree with most of the thread, but we were all new at one time! Someone had to trust you when you had no feedback, unless you're selling 300-dollar Glocks at pawnshop trade-in prices.

It's been a while but back several years ago when my buddy BT passed away I had made him a promise that if anything ever happened I would help his wife dispose of his long guns. I made a post here and had one person meet the prices I placed on them and he also bought all the ammo that went with the guns. I made arrangements to ship all the long guns in hard cases he supplied. When I shipped them they were at post office with Priority/Tracking. It took a couple weeks to get the transfer complete but went smoothly. I had to switch to UPS for the ammo and had to use UPS labels on all the packages. It went smoothly also. I can't exactly remember how many long guns he purchased but I was glad to get it done. It was an instate shipment.
