Oh boy. No 2A fear, our friend with it’s own set of downsides.

I had some concrete work done last summer and made sure they poured on a cooler morning, which helped with curing. Also, sealing it after a week made a big difference.

Second round of chemo pills ended Thursday night. My fingers are still numb but not as bad as while taking the pills. First doctor visit after the congestive heart failure my heart was at 22%, below borderline for a pacemaker. I didn't want it and worked hard for 6 months getting it up to 48%. Lots of work and after 1 year it was up to 55%. The acid reflex as doctors called it, tumor, esophagus cancer, chemo infusions and having to care for my wife more this last visit showed my heart at 22% again. So the walking has started again. Since it's hot outdoors I walk stores pushing a shopping cart for an hour or more, may walk 2, sometimes 3 stores in a day. Someone said, get a treadmill, save going to stores. They don't last very long outdoors, even under a carport. I've had 3 free ones in the past 7 years.

Digital scales going super low are costly. I used the Lee scale measuring 72.91 grain 3 times, close enough. Poured them in an empty 410 shell, seated a 7/16" rod and marked it. poured shot into an empty drug bottle so storage. Wrapped tape on shell and marked it. Cut the shell on my new mini chop saw. Poured shot back into shell, level fill. I'm ready to start loading. But it needs a handle. Thinking of ways to make one.

I used Citristrip and a plastic scraper for old finish, then a light sanding before staining. Took longer than expected, but came out decent without needing harsh chemicals.
