Palmetto makes the JAKL which is an AR compatible piston upper. There are also a good handful of other proprietary AR piston uppers. Moving to different designs, there is the FN SCAR, CZ Bren rifles, Galil ACE, Robinson XCR, Beretta ARX, Bushmaster ACR, and a few more that escape me at the moment.

Thanks for the feedback. I looked at the Silencerco Omega 300. Description says : It ships with a 5/8×24 Bravo Direct Thread Mount, Bravo Basic Tool, Bravo Multi Tool, and a .30 cal Bravo Anchor Brake. That's good but is it Hub adapter compatible?

I have a new and never shot S&W M&P9 2.0 Compact in 9mm. I am the original owner and it has never been shot. Comes with 2 15rd magazine , all the grip back-straps, and papers. These are the same size and capacity as a Glock 19. It is S&W's version of the Glock 19. I am looking to trade it even for a used but in good shape Glock 27 in .40S&W. I am looking for a Glock 27 Generation 3 in .40S&W. Must be in great shape. For trade I have a new never shot S&W M&P9 2.0 9mm Compact which is the same size and capacity as a Glock 19. I am the original owner and it is new and never been shot. I'll trade even my new M&P Compact for a Glock 27 in .40S&W. I am in Middle Tn in Clarksville but can drive a little for the right deal. 1- Rearden makes good stuff. It’s all I use and mine are Q Plan B compatible with either FHD or R2S muzzle devices on my guns. I don’t do direct thread on anything, although I will if I ever get a .22 can. 2 - If back pressure is not a concern, Silencerco Omega 300 is tough to beat. More cans are being made that reduce back pressure and most compromise some decibel reduction. They are well worth it IMO if you are using a gas operated semi-auto and are a lot more effective than the gas-busting charging handle gimmicks. Gassy face is such a drag. 3 - I’m not holding my breath over the HPA becoming reality. That said, my NFA guy is holding a can for me (that I have paid for) for a bit to see what happens. If the HPA goes up in smoke, I’ll just pay my $200 but if it passes, I’ll be glad I held off. Plus, suppressors will completely vanish due to 20x demand for (I fear) a lot longer than a year.

I bought a HUXWRX Flow Range 36 Ti ( as my 1st can) and am enjoying it. My goal was to get something that would be able to go on a couple 8mm guns (M76, M49) . I actually found a guy that makes a direct thread Hub adapter that will allow fixation to an M76 Flash Hider (here soon). 1) I’ve been looking for direct to Hub thread adapters to go on some AKs i.e. ComBloc 14x1LH barrels (M77, M70B1, VZ2008, Dracos, others). But have only found a few so far. I would have thought many would be available out there. I may eventually invest in FH to Hub adapters to quickly swap but that stuff really adds up at what I feel are pretty ridiculous prices per rifle (for what should be low dollar adapters). Yea I understand adding a KNS piston may be indicated. For M76/M77 there’s a guy that makes finer adjust gas adjust piston-cups. As far as non-concentric issues, well, I’m hoping the 36ti diameter will be generous enough so as not to fear probs on 30cal barrels. HUXWRX is pretty vague about what they “approve”. Of course, if it does there will be a massive run on suppressors and back orders will go through the roof for maybe a year before things settle down, new players hop into the market and, I would assume, prices plummet . IOW are you waiting ?
