  1. That's a cool looking sling, Whats it made of?
  2. PPKS...classic style, blowback design with fixed barrel that allows accurate shot placement.  I had a PPK and it was a great shooter and I liked the DA/SA. If .380 rounds weren't so expensive I would have kept it, but went with 9MM instead.
  3. CVA break-action rifle...  .243 that only costs $179. Never shot one but know a guy who bough one and liked it.
  4. Sold a stainless Colt Commander and Ruger SR1911. I don't regret selling them when I see the price of .45 ammo, but do regret it when I see a beautiful 1911 specimen.  :wall:
  5. I like most others like the grip of #1 and blade of #3. That being said I would have to choose #1 for the unique grip as my first choice.
  6. I've flipped from scope to red dot to irons and back again.  It's so much more rewarding to me to be able to shoot irons well.  Now I keep a 4x quick mount scope for when I need accuracy and take it off when I want to practice the basics.
  7. That Wiley Clapp gp100 is bad***!!!
  8. I shot my rifle from under a tin about 10 years ago, what a mistake, my ear rang for 2 days!!
  9. Rods and reels are as addictive as guns!!  I get to fish as much as I get to shoot-about 2-3 times a year and still have trouble turning down a good deal on a reel.
  10. Excellent, the marlin 336 is the best looking 30-30 there is!
  11. Congrats, I inherited a marlin 30-30 last year from my dad when he passed. The cool thing about it is it's dated the year I was born.
  12. I vote 4", it just has the perfect proportion imo.  But i haven't shot one so that's just based on aesthetics.  If I had another 4" barrel gun I would keep the 6" and vise versa.  This way you have a gun for different purposes.
  13. NOT A FAN OF RAILS EITHER. LOOKING FOR GEN 2 G19 BECAUSE IT  DOESN'T HAVE A RAIL.
  14.  I'M WITH HLB14 ON THE HK VP9. I SHOT HIS AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED BUT I SEE YOU WANT A METAL FRAME AND NO RAIL. HOW ABOUT A BERETTA 92FS OR TAURUS PT92.  THEY ARE PLEASANT TO SHOOT AND ACCURATE.
  15. AM I MISSING SOMETHING?  I PUT AT PEARCE PG2733 MAG EXTENSION ON MY G26. IT SAID +1 FOR 27/33 AND +2 FOR 26 BUT I CAN ONLY FIT 1 EXTRA ROUND. DOES IT NEED ALTERED TO FIT 2?  THERE WERE'NT ANY INSTRUCTIONS WITH IT. ANY IDEAS?
  16. Have you shot either one?  If so I'd choose the one I shoot the best. I chose a 26 because that's what I trusted the most and shoot it accurately.
  17. This is my first shootin 1911, I had a colt commander but only test fired it once.  I did notice how the top bullet can either be pointing straight or slightly upward. I will try your all your suggestions next time out and keep them firmly placed and pointed up. Thanks.
  18. Has anyone had their SR1911 not load the first round. Mine has about 300 rounds through it and last time i shot it, when the slide was released it missed the round. I cycled the slide and it missed the round a second time. I unloaded the mag and reloaded with different ammo and it worked fine.  Seems like may have been ammo but it's odd and just wondering if anyone experienced this before. Btw, I was using a factory mag.
  19. Wow, I didn't know they made gen 2 32's. My first gun was an early gen 3 32 which I thought was a new model for glock...Guess not!
  20. I vote SR1911. Nice gun for the $$.
  21. If I had known about the 9 round mags for the 30 sooner, like Tercel89 has, I wouldn't have a 26 right now. It WOULD be a 30!
