  1. I bought a Nemesis for my PPK and it printed horribly.
  2. My first pistol was a Glock 32. I loved the .357 round and had it for 10 years.  Initially bullets were $13 for 50 and now $26 which is why I sold it.  Not really a concern for you if you reload.  I wish I still had it and would have just bought a 9mm conversion.
  3. Magazine disconnect?  Is that what is needed for the gun to fire with the mag removed?  Is that an add-on?
  4. I'm considering picking up a M&P 45C.  I was just looking for some input on what I should look for or avoid when it comes to early/late production and safety/no safety. Thanks in advance.
  5. +1 ON THE SADDLE SHOP, THAT'S WHO I ALWAYS USE.  ONLY DOWN SIDE IS THEY CLOSE AT 5PM.
  6. Just when I thought I didn't need a pocket gun, I read this thread.  Now I want one too!!
  7. check the belts-make sure they are there, see if the fans are operating-if they are electric turn the a/c on because they should always be running when the a/c compressor is running.  Finally when it is hot, SHUT ENGINE OFF and feel the radiator hoses-if one is hot and one is cold most likely a bad thermostat or radiator restriction. hope this helps.
  8. I like the black hardware better....not that the the silver isn't as great!
  9. So....in a survival situation, is a dog going to be a liability or beneficial?  On one hand,  it could serve as great protection and could alert you if someone or something is coming.  On the other hand,  it's another mouth to feed and it's barking could alert others of your position if you were in hiding.  Thoughts, opinions?
  10.  Maybe one day I'll cross it off my list as well!!
  11. I don't own an auto, but this one really piques my interest.  I love the lines!
  12. The first handgun I shot was a 9mm and shortly after bought glock 32 (.357 sig).  IMO,  if you are truly concerned about a larger caliber, start with a full size 9mm steel frame gun. It will have easily manageable recoil.

    Mini 30

I've had few issues with wolf too.  Unfortunately, the Mini 30 firing pin spring is not designed for berdan primers which are what most steel cased bullets use.  I have still used steel case for the last 10 years through mine.  I have had good luck with most other brands of steel cased ammo though.  I recently starting buying PPU--it's brass cased with a boxer primer and you can get them online for $10 a box of 20. I will say that I get the best accuracy from Federal Fusion but it is $26 a box.
  14. The part that reads "without manual reloading" in section 'b' sounds like it targeting all semi-autos. Am I reading too deep into the wording?  I don't manually reload my pistols, they reload themselves.
  15. I guess I'm the only person who doesn't find glocks ugly.  I LOVE the look of my 26 and I love the simple no frills, no rail look of a gen 2 19! Maybe it's the minimalist in me. Congrats on the purchase.
  16. After thinking about how I could survive, I realized my gun safe is electronic!!  No hunting or protection with a firearm.  I guess I would have to use my bow or trade out the safe for a mechanical lock.
  17. I HAD ONE BUT SOLD IT TO GET A PPK.  THE PPK HAS BEEN UNRELIABLE AT BEST, THE BERSA NEVER LET ME DOWN!!
  18. The Hitler one had me in tears!!!
  19. The story was probably started by an ammo company to increase revenue!
  20. I vote SR1911. I love mine.   :2cents:
  21. Nothing cerakote can't fix.

    HK VP9

I'm eagerly waiting to see a compact version!
  23. Okay.....so Glock was a little late to the game, PERFECTION isn't created overnight :stir:
