    WooooHoooo!!! Go Titans!!!
  2. I wouldn't wear it... but I have said that very thing to a person whom I was having a conversation with, and knew where I was coming from. It would be too easy to take that the wrong way... and it's not going to change anything... they will still vote the same, but they will hate you for pointing out why. Lose-Lose situation.
  3. A .44mag Derringer. Never again. My hand turned purple.
  4. That's only if it actually is a federal building, I suppose it could be.
  5. I don't see why it would be, unless it was properly posted.
  6. I love it when right-to-carry is reduced to someone's opinion that not everyone's life has an equal value, depending solely on where they are... as if being able to defend oneself is somehow conditional on some certification which for the most part is irrelevant to a purely defensive scenario. Thank you for you service, but I must say no thank you to sustaining some class system which determines who can fight to stay alive to the best of their ability and equipment, and who can't.
  7. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/vbclassified.php?do=user&userid=2390 They are there. It's best to view them in the vbClassifieds section than the forum.
  8. Relisted them. Should be fine now.
  9. I see them... not sure how they got closed. Will investigate.
  10. I clean my pistols only after they begin to have function issues, or whenever I replace worn/broken parts, which is usually every 1-5K rounds or so. Except of course for my carry pistol, it gets cleaned after every range session, and sometimes in between, to get the lint/etc out. Shotguns get boresnaked and the semi-autos get their gas systems cleaned every time. Rifles get boresnaked and usually fully broken down for detail cleaning every time.
  11. 3" and Mag loads are only really good for delivering more shot for increased hit probability at longer ranges. A controllable 8-9 pellet reduced-recoil load is just fine... However, since my FN SLP is both heavy and has a super recoil-absorbing action, mag loads in it feel nearly equivalent to target stuff from a light pump-gun.
  12. Hmmm... now I have a hankering to go eat at a brewery.
  13. I guess my only take on the matter is that if one doesn't voluntarily participate in an interview, the investigator's only option is to take you involuntarily... so not making a complete statement almost ensures that you will be taken in. However, as mentioned, that is not set in stone... assuming that the responding LEOs have the common sense to determine from the information given in the 911 call, and immediatly upon their arrival, that the person you shot was a mortal danger to you and/or had forcibly entered your domicile. That should be all they have to hear from you right then, really, the basic facts. If that's not enough to help them determine that you are a law-abiding citizen, and the perp (who probably has a rap-sheet already) was the aggressor... then it certainly would be prudent to shut up and go wherever they take you (preferably the ER, first), until your lawyer can catch up to you.
  14. IMHO, that would be pretty much the only good reason to have one of these... full auto. They did good by using P90 mags, instead of some proprietary bs. The next best thing would have been a small carbine which accepts the Five-seveN magazines, with the extensions to make 30rd. Maybe something like that in a platform similar to a KRISS...? Seriously, if a few more manufacturers do something with this cartridge, it will certainly become more mainstream.
  15. Way cool! Price isn't bad either...
  16. And I guess if I have more than one high capacity 'Hero-Gear Battle Mug', in conjunction with the ammo... I'd have an 'Arsenal'...
  17. This is something which I plan on trying in the near future.
  18. Glock... Now that's one way to not be able to find your @$$
  19. Social Security was a hasty solution put in place as part of FDR's 'New Deal'. It should have been temporary... repealed with most of the junk conservatives got rid of later from that mess. Since they didn't, now we're paying for it. Just like our progeny will pay for the 'New Deals' which Obama will make in the shadow of this economic "crisis". Damn socialists, rewarding personal irresponsibility at the cost of the truly productive.
  20. XD-9 SubCompact loaded with 115gr +p+ Gold Dot ammo from Georgia-Arms. Plan on buying some 135gr +p Federal Bonded HST once I shoot up the remainder of the 200rd I have of my current supply.
  21. Don't worry Len, I know that you do alot of good for us gun-owners here in TN as penance for your misguided political beliefs Don't sweat it. I still think you're alright My main complaints with Obama are his voting record and professional associations contradicting the so-called moderate stance and loyalty to this country he claims... I have yet to hear anything I disagreed with or found to be untrue from Palin, and think it's hilarious (to the point of being disgusting) the lengths the media have gone to attempt to assassinate her character. If we really want change, we need somebody in the process who is not already a lock-step, hard-core politician.
  22. Very cool! I had never seen one of these, just the 20" and 14" versions. Lemme know if ya' ever think about selling it...
  23. +1 Can't wait to take another one, once I actually get another carbine. Nice review!
  24. We need some gunny terminology for beerz... A case of 12 or more is a "magazine" A 6-pack in a cardboard carrier is a "speed-loader" A 6-pack on the plastic connector is a "clip" A keg is, of course, a "drum-mag" With those definitions in mind... I need to go pick up a few extra magazines.
  25. If the authorities have the time to actually check, it must not actually be a real emergency... and if it is an emergency, attempting to strip me of one of my means of survival would certainly be considered an abuse of power, and a threat on my life. That's just me though... I haven't got a whole helluva lot to lose either way.
