Sooo... the rhetorical question is, what should/could have been done about 'Castro', to prevent the outcome in 'Cuba'?

Lots of regiemes have killed lots of people from both sides of my family... but we're still kickin'. ... Of course, I am now the last eligible male with my last name, from my family, though... so it dies with me unless I had, had a kid. Which didn't happen. So I guess we're screwed.

The ugly .22lr semi-autos do tend to work a whole lot better, no question about it. The Mosquito and P22 are good for suppressing, but that's about it... and even if I wanted a suppressed .22, I'd look long and hard, first, at an integrally suppressed Ruger MKII upper.

Pretty much... One side of my family fought in the war to end slavery (or whatever they call it down here ), and the other side came over from Poland around WWII. The whining, decades and centuries later, just makes me care even less.

What barrel length? 3" are kinda rare...the others aren't so much (2.5", 4", 6"). Sounds about right to me, unless it's a 3" gun, in which case it's worth at least double that.

I've shot a Thunder 5 (very similar). With .410 bird shot, it was still very controllable... but you had to be within just a few yards of the target to get a useful-sized pattern at all. I'd be interested in one of the 3" chamber versions to keep 5-pellet OOO buckshot shells in. Anything within 5-7 yards would be peppered pretty good.

The CX-4 doesn't fold, and is more expensive. I had one, and although I liked it, it was pretty unreliable. I don't have much experience with the Sub2000, but they seem to be the more popular choice.

If you end up not liking it, it won't be much of a loss... there's always somebody willing to buy a used Glock. This is of course assuming that you have at least shot a Glock before, and know that you don't hate them. If you haven't fired one, you would be well advised to go rent one beforehand... you'll either love it or hate it.

The only real advantage to the XD and Glock Subcompacts is the shorter grip means slightly less printing, and it will fit in the large pocket of cargo shorts/pants.

Don't see any reason not to get it, if that's what you want.
