1) The report states both that he was shot and shot at, though it sounds like he was not actually hit. Why is it so difficult for the media to report anything accurately? 2) How does a single person find themself in trouble as much as old George does?

Living in Mt. Juliet off and on my entire life I can't say that I've ever really felt that I was in any danger anywhere here. Times are quickly changing around here though.

Encountered tons of those when I lived in Blount County, found a nest of them in a hollow tree once. Never was stung by one but never taunted them either.

Also no permit needed to car carry.

On one hand I feel that any conversation on my phone is between me and the person who I am talking to and is no one else's business. On the other hand I think it would be funny if someone tapped my phone they sure wold waste a lot of time for absolutely nothing of interest.

Killing snakes is so ignorant. I work with a guy that kills every snake and every hawk he sees because he's afraid they are going to kill his precious chickens. I would love to see him get caught especially for the hawks. How many chicken eggs does one have to sale to cover those legal fees?

Remember when stripped lowers were going for $400 during the panic? I'm laughing about it now because I didn't buy any then.

Thanks a lot you just cost me $397 with shipping. I love PSA but Joe Bob Outfitters has lowers for $45.

don't unfairly disadvantage my children by reading to your own.

So by their logic,I should just quit my job and stay drunk, is that right? -
You got ripped off, pretty sure that gun was part of the Hi Point open carry kit which contained the pistol, a nylon holster, and a concealed carry permit holder badge. It was a limited production thing, if only you had the badge the value would be about triple.

Rarely do I believe what I hear from the guy standing behind the sporting goods counter at Wal-Mart, he's probably right this time though.
-
What's really cool about it is that a guy can't just go our and get one just like it, beautiful gun!

Carp, Cordell Hull is always good for carp!

Just get her a point and shoot unless she has a serious interest in learning photography. It doesn't matter how good a camera is, it will still require a skilled person behind it to take good pictures.

Mine will have a motor, gotta save that energy for hand to hand combat.

Glad you are still with us, best wishes in your recovery.

Tell him that you don't think your black buddies at the range would appreciate that, that should blow his mind.

If I've learned one thing from liberals it's when you are losing a fight just start calling your opponent names.

I'd hardly call it the fight of the century. Mayweather is a talented fighter but he is a thug. The other guy most people had never heard of.

BTW I'm leaning more towards a Chipmunk because I can't seem to find an air rifle that is small enough for her and will accept a sighting device. She's pretty small for her age and I don't want to give her an adult sized rifle that she will struggle with and have issues cocking. It worked for me but I wanted a rifle at that age more than anything.

Thanks for the input. Honestly I don;'t think that she has ever worn her glasses correctly. They are often times low on her nose and she looks over the top of them. She doesn't have much interest in learning to wear them the right way. She's really good at adapting to the things that she has to but often gives up very easily if something is difficult. Therefore I'm trying to make this as easy and fun for her as possible because if she doesn't like it or has to put in extra effort to overcome the sight situation she will likely no longer be interested.

I need some advice here from the bifocal wearing crowd. My daughter will soon be turning six which is the age that my wife had agreed to let me get her a BB gun. I could see my daughter's interest going either way on this do I want to make sure that she doesn't get frustrated and had lots of fun. The catch is that she had cataracts as a toddler and as a result she has to wear bifocals. I've never worn bifocals so I can't relate first hand to what it is like to look at iron sites, but I've heard that they can present a challenge and she just doesn't need that. Now I'm considering some type of airgun that I could mount a red dot site on, do you bifocal wearers think that would be easier for her to use? As for the rifle the search is on for something I can mount the site to, is easy to cock as she is very small for her age, oh yeah and it needs to be pink...

As much as I enjoy deer season I don't spend a lot of time thinking about it the test of the year. I'd rather spend that time thinking about whatever happens to be in season or just enjoying the weather. Currently I'm trying to find time to have my bow restrung so I can start slinging some arrows. I also need to get my muzzle loader back to the range and decide if it will do or if I need to find another.

Maybe, but God carries a .45, in 1911 of course.
