I guess it is more expensive for me because I try really hard to only eat organic meat. Mostly deer but when I have to buy it it is roughly twice as much as regular meat.

Greenbrier Restaurant. One of the only reasons to go to Gatlinburg. Actually if you just want a good Gatlinburg experience nothing fits that place quite like a Taco Bell. http://www.greenbrierrestaurant.com/

It's amazing how much better "eating clean" (all natural foods) will make you feel. Plus now you don't have to worry about those idiots at he Burger King anymore! Personally I try to eat clean, eat as much as I want and lead an active lifestyle. It works for me, if I were eating junk in the quantities that I eat clean food I'd be fat as mud and feel like crap. It costs more but I consider it an investment in my health, less time I'll have to spend in a doctors office, and less down time due to health issues. BTW deer meat is a huge part of my diet.

New York Church Taking Walmart To Court Over Gun Sales
10-Ring replied to The Legion's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I did a stint in asset protection at Wally World. I left almost 5 years ago (good choice.) Back then we were running ~150 cameras per store and could retain all of that video for about 6 months. Whenever you walk into or out of a Walmart entrance there is a camera about 4 feet high on the edge of each door frame, that gives a really good face shot. There is also a camera that records every singe item scanned at every register and they have the ability to see that each item was paid for, how it was paid for, and a picture of who paid for it. I highly doubt that any of this is used maliciously, we just used it to gather evidence in theft and fraud cases. -
The Amish are not going to let an outsider just go live in their community. It's still not the same though. They have the infrastructure to make it without electricity we do not. We are dependent on it. If there is an EMP we are immobile, they hitch up the buggy to the horse and go, just like they did yesterday. We have no lights in our house, they light a lamp, because that is what they have always done. If you want to see how much we are dependant go flip the main breaker on your house and take the battery out of your car for 3 days. Without major preparation it will not be easy. Most people in today's society are going to freak out when the TV doesn't come on and their modem doesn't work, let alone when they have no AC, their refrigerator doesn't work, and they have no hot water. With an EMP thrown in the possibility that our cars won't work and we are really screwed seeing as so much of America lives so far from areas where we get things. There is a whole plethora of problems to face that most of us haven't even given thought to, I too will recommend One Second After it will make you think about these things.

44 is a damn good brush gun. I'm finding that my old eyes don't do irons well anymore, if it were me if put a scope on it but no need to go with a huge scope. -
I like to comment on the over priced items "What's the non felon price on that?" That usually gets them going.

Gladeville, everything you get in Mt.Juliet you just have an extra 10 minutes to drive, but you are 10 minutes closer to the gun range. Providence has about anything you need retail wise. I see the advantage to Gladeville as being more rural which is a big factor for me, I'd guess housing out there would be a little bit more economical. Housing is very high in Providence, they think they are Brentwood Jr. over there.

I have an Express that was manufactured around 1994. It seems to be of much better quality than the newer models.

I have a tshirt with and AR-15 on it that says "come and take it." I've gotten lots of compliments on it but never caught any flack. Guess maybe it clicked off in their idiot heads that it might not be a good idea to harass someone wearing such a shirt.

New York Church Taking Walmart To Court Over Gun Sales

As if Walmart had any care in the world if they were selling something that could harm people. Walmart has one concern and one concern only and that is making money, be it at the cost of slavery or child labor they don't care, and they certainly will tell anyone trying to regulate their sell of firearms that accept high capacity magazines to go pound sand. -
You have to watch the barter people for sure. I had a motorcycle on Craigslist a few years back, which I had listed for $1700. Guy offers me a cheapo AR-15, I tell him I can't do that. Then he tells me that he has a 7 shot revolver he will trade me as well. I'm thinking "sweet, if this is a 686+1 we may have a deal." So I ask him what it is and it's a Nagant revolver. Back Then I think the lower end ARs were going for about a grand and the Nagants were $75 back then. Guy was trying to pull a quick one, he just had no idea he was dealing with someone who knew what guns were going for. The best barter offer I ever got was when I had a dog kennel for sale and someone offered me some quail for it.

I've had good luck in the past hunting areas where a field was cut but there were scattered clumps of trees and strips at the edges of the field that were not cut. Works best to hunt with one or two others and take turns kicking through the brush while the other hunters stand ready to shoot anything that pops out. Just make sure that you are hunting with people that you trust, some people get a little excited and fail to pay attention to what they are doing and where they are shooting when that rabbit makes a run for it.

I haven't tried the Iheartradio app but I don't mind paying $10 a month to listen to what I want without adds and do it offline.

Okay, here's my deal. I'm currently a Sirius satellite subscriber and I'm thinking of giving it up for a paid subscription to a music streaming service. I currently have Spotify Free and I like it. I understand that with the paid service I can play my playlist off line. The object is to be able to get in the truck or on the bike and listen to my music without using my data on my phone. I'd save $5 a month with Spotify instead of Sirius plus I like the format better, in addition I can put a playlist on and let it roll without having to worry about messing with it which I really don't like doing, especially on the bike. I know there are a variety of services available and Spotify is the only one that I have experience with. Is there any reason not to go with Spotify? Are there better options out there? The versatility of the equipment is another plus, I always have my phone with me but I swap p bikes often, I have he Sirius installed on my touring bike and I put it in the truck too, but I could listen to the Spotify on my phone on my other bikes that aren't set up with satellite antennas and power sources.

You forgot about being able to say or do whatever you want, whenever you want.

There is no excuse for forgetting where your gun is. That said I bet that every single case involved a legal gun owner that meant no harm to anyone and forgot that it was there. I doubt that anyone would purposely try to get a gun onto a plane illegally. -
Yet another law enforcement question for those of you in the know
10-Ring replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
Something doesn't add up. I understand why the scrap yard may not be able to give you the thief's information but it seems like law enforcement should be obligated to follow up on this. It sounds like an open and shut case. -
This thread is going to be awesome! There are truly some special people selling guns on Facebook, I can't wait to see more.

If I lived down the road from this tool bag and had a legitimate range this guy would get throttled. This kind of behavior only hurts responsible gun owners.

I don't ever recall being excited, or even caring about the premier of a TV show. Excited about this one though!
