You will love the supermoto. I don't ride anymore (at one time I never thought that I would say that) but as many motorcycles came and went my motard stayed through them all and was the last to go. I miss it more than the others as well. GLWS!

I have little respect for the Mt. Juliet police department. That said, when they began talk of their license plate readers I was adamantly against the idea for reasons related to privacy, and fear that the system would be used by that department in a way in which it wasn't intended. Almost 3 years later I will admit that I was wrong. It seems that nearly a day can not pass without a stolen car being recovered. Not surprisingly, it seems that the majority of the stolen cars are driven by wanted felons, usually from Davidson County. (The local thugs know better than to run stolen plates in Mt. Juliet.) I saw these stats posted this morning so I thought that I would pass them along. I hear a lot of bad things from credible people about the way that the Mt. Juliet Police Department is run, but I haven't heard a single thing in 3 years about these cameras being used inappropriately.

I can't recall the last time that I was excited about a movie. A decade at least. But I can't wait for this one.

I'm on a Heritage Rough Rider Facebook page. There are people on that page with a dozen+ Rough Riders. One is plenty for me. It's fine for throwing in the truck or on the 4 wheeler and not worrying about it, mine functions fine, but the accuracy leaves something to be desired. I'm not bothering to got any of the black Friday sales where they will be available for $80 out the door. I'd rather have a Ruger or a Smith than 10 Rough Riders, but to each his own.

Good luck. Went down this road looking for a similar condition Model 29. My intention was to carry it in the woods, use it, and not worry about dinging it up. It seems that people who buy higher end guns have a tendency to designate them as safe queens and rarely use them. I would say this is even more true with Snake guns than run of the mill S&Ws.

The American is tough to beat for the price. I have nice rifles and I have rifles that I actually use. The current gun market is weird. Most wood stocked guns have gotten to a price point where I no longer feel good about taking them into the woods. The past few years I've begun hunting with ARs, a Cerokoted Mossberg 500 with a slug barrel, and synthetic stocked bolt actions. I can take any of the above into the woods and not be concerned with them getting beat up, yet they all do their assigned jobs well.

My 2 year old falls asleep on RZR rides pretty consistently. He spends more time asleep than awake on riding days. Bed time with a nice bed and a sound machine it takes him an hour to go to sleep. 3 minutes bouncing down rough trails with a loud exhaust and he's out.

I'll take it if N9148q doesn't.

Don't get me started on the wiring in this house. Several quirky things, but the one that sticks out the most is that there are 3 switches for the overhead kitchen light, 2 of which are on the same panel. So sometimes you flip a switch and nothing happens, then you flip another and nothing happens, then you go to the third switch and the light finally goes off. About drove me crazy around 1am one morning shortly after we moved in and I couldn't get the light turned off. Then there is the exterior motion detector light that can't be reached and we have no idea what switch controls it.

I'm glad that I can do most everything around the house that I need to and aim to teach my son these things so he can when I can no longer do those things. It's rare these days to find a serviceman that does a quality job. I do have an HVAC guy that I've been using who shows up on time, does good work and charges a fair price, but people like that are the exception rather than the rule anymore. We recently hired out a bathroom reno and it was pretty bad. I didn't want to do it myself on count of my wife picks apart everything that I do. The contractor she hired was a tile guy by trade and he either did all of the work or subbed it out to other contractors. We now have a tile shower that's looks like something out of a magazine. However, the dual lights above the vanity are crooked, the crown molding looks like a team effort between Stevie Wonder and a kindergarten, and if you wave at the drywall it waves back. These contractors today live by the moto of "looks good from my house" and it shows. But at least my wife isn't griping at me about the trim job. Same guy reglazed the grout in my FIL's bathroom and the toilet started leaking a few months later, like it was a bad wax ring. I went to take a look and it may have not been the tile guys fault but the flange is about 1/4" closer to the wall than it should be, causing the rear of the toilet to lift up a bit. IMO he should have at least said something. I worked for a friend doing finish carpentry 15 years ago. His words of advice to me were "you don't have to be good at what you do in construction (he was though, he was one of the most talented craftsmen I've ever worked with) just show up when you say you will, do the work, and clean up the work area before you leave for the day" I've enjoyed watching him grow his business, he now charges a premium for his work and picks his clientele.

I've done a good bit of hiking out there and hunted it 20 plus years ago. I would consider it to be pretty safe. There is decent cell coverage throughout the park. Worse comes to worse. You're a phone call away from help that should get there quickly.

I don't have a place of my own, and likely don't have the time to get out for a squirrel hunt, but Cedar Forest on the West Side of Highway 231 right across from Cedars of Lebanon State Park would give you access to about 2500 mostly wooded acres just a short drive from Murfreesboro. If you aren't familiar with the area, you can park along the access road and walk in wherever you like. Most of the roads loop back into the main road. It is mentioned in the TWRA hunting guide, but difficult to find information about what type of permits are needed. The link given in the regulation guide does not work. I did find a contact number for Richard Saltsman, who is listed on the state website as the public contact for Cedar Forest good phone number is 615-443-2768 and his email is Richard.Saltzman@tn.gov. He should be about to tell you exactly what is required.
