  1. Pretty sure you have to be a benefactor to sell on here.
  2. Yeah I knew it had to be. I arrived and didnt see any signs. On my way out I found a completely improperly posted sign. I was thinking it was prohibited because isn't gov/state owned? Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
  3. Anybody know if this place is posted?
  4. I'll take that on for sure. +1 for a meet n grill! I don't know of much ranges that are big enough for a meet and greet that also have a place to BBQ. The Woodbury range is the only one that comes to mind but that's quite far for Nashville folk. Let us all know when and where, I'm game!
  5. That being said, I was wondering if someone could clarify on this. Being a permit holder I always carry when I go to work. It is a mobile business and we go to a lot of places. Being that I know I can't carry on to college campus property, I have before had to go home and lock up my gun to go onto campus and do a job. So happens I am also a student at this college campus. Looking at the wording of that subsection, my question is whether or not I could unload my handgun, lock it up in the car, and separate it from the ammo. Could I transfer and say it is in possession of my boss (a "nonstudent" and also owner of the vehicle)? Thus bypassing the need to make a trip home to drop off my gun.... I suppose my question has more to do with possession in these circumstances. Make sense? What do you say OhShoot? Let the debating begin!
  6. The barrel. No wood piece above the barrel.
  7. Looks like this http://www.a-human-right.com/runt-styer_s.jpg Except it doesnt have a wood piece designed onto the top of the rifle.
  8. Im on my phone so my research is limited. Those are the only markings i can find.

  10. Hey folks Ive found a really neat rifle that i need help identifying. Owner says he doesnt know what it is. he says its 8 millimeter and this is a straight bolt steyr rifle. Says he had it for 30 years, never shot it. Any idea what this is or what its worth? Ill post a pic in a second.
  11. After doing a great deal of searching on the forums, I couldn't find much information about this subject. I understand that there is a $0.10 tax stamp for each individual box of ammunition purchased locally. However, how exactly does it work if you buy ammunition out of state? It just seems like it would be a hassle I don't want to deal with. Perhaps I'll just buy local. I did find this on the TWRA website: P.S. This would probably make a great sticky if we get some information going.
  12. If you don't mind ruining the value of the gun. I got rid of that thing.
  13. So what exactly would be necessary to prove preponderance of evidence that a button automatic knife was possessed at home for collecting purposes? That sounds strange to me. Obviously I would have to go out and buy an automatic knife and transport it to my home. How does that work? What if I want to sell it? If it can't leave home, whats the deal?
  14. 0.5 is good. It would be nice for large extended group hiking trips. I'm planning on a 4+ person 2-3 day trip within a month or so. It would be a nice thing to have.
  15. On my most recent hiking/backcountry camping trip with my friends we decided to boil water so we didnt have to carry 6450515315616 bottles of water. Boiling water..... is a pain in the ass.... time consuming... just.... sucks... in general. You have to have a hot enough fire to boil water in the first place and be able to maintain it. Water takes forever to boil. Then you have to have a method of cooling the water down before you can drink it. On the move just sucks. We ran out of water with about 4 more miles back to the car. Hot Day... Never again.... I got an aquamira pro frontier filter from amazon for $25. It filters 50 gallons and includes a straw.
  16. 154CM is decent. For me... S30V all day every day!
  17. To further clarify on Josh Hutcherson (Peeta)... What I mean is I can't take him seriously... I can't take him seriously the same way I can't take Ashton Kutcher seriously when he's in a normal movie NOT being a dumbas$$. I just look at his face and I start laughing.
  18. I actually read it on my phone. I got hooked reading the first chapter for free. A couple months later my girlfriend reads it then buys all three books hard copy. Many months after that there's rumor of a movie. I thought the movie was great, I just wish they had chosen someone else to play the role of Peeta. I can't take that kid seriously especially after watching RV. I was actually surprised how much of the book they incorporated into the movie. Usually when they make a movie they screw things up and omit a lot of stuff.
  19. When I was a child, I went on a week long school sea expedition (50-100 kids) and the ship crew had under lock and key: rocket launchers, grenades, and fully automatic firearms. I lived in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for 21 years and I still don't really know how that all works out at sea, lol.
  20. Super saver shipping from amazon can be so slow sometimes... Sent from my HTC Inspire 4G using Tapatalk
  21. Considering the situation if those two men robbed the store and ran out of the building. If you pulled your gun out you would probably be arrested too BEING that NO ONE was in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death as they were fleeing. Confronting them with DEADLY FORCE as they leave will only WORSEN the situation and cause harm that could have been avoided had they been allowed to flee. Keep in mind that the only time you can display DEADLY FORCE is to DEFEND yourself or third party if they are in IMMEDIATE danger of serious bodily injury or death. If they are running away they present neither unless they were to car jack you and your son. If that happen to me I would never be able to forgive myself for putting my son in danger like that. I would have kept my distance, called 911 with suspicious activity, and try to be the best witness as possible.
  22. Ontario Tak-1 ordered. Maybe I'll be kind enough to put up a mini review with pics.
