  1. I like the weapons Bazaar idea lol. I wonder what the police looked like when they brought in a pile of rifles and handguns. Quite nice ones actually from the picture they had on the top of the page. I'm sure the swat team was quite happy with the new .50 cal though.
  2. Any chance you might be shooting on the 3rd? I am also in the optics transition on my AR and have been looking at some different things.
  3. I'm thinking there might be a plot twist with the guy they pulled off the fence. Maybe he goes with Rick and Shane to be dropped off wherever but ends up killing Shane. Since Rick technically saved him. The reason though that I'm wondering that is because it shows Rick leaning over someone covered in blood, and getting into a fight with Shane in the commercial.
  4. There we go, I was trying to put it in the image thing that comes up in the editor, not directly.
  5. Well I can't figure out how to upload the photo.
  6. I would have done that but I didn't have anything to use for that route. I also figured the knotting would throw off the outline of the tube a little as well for better camouflage. Also it lets you keep around 50 feet or so on hand, I think at least.
  7. @broox, this was just from a general point of view with no purpose in mind. I was just wanting to hear what people had to say. I've never been a Glock person but for some reason have been looking at them lately so I wanted to see what people had to say about the different models.
  8. Haha aren't they all black? Oh wait they do have the OD Green ones I forgot.
  9. What about a G31 in .357 Sig? Might possibly getting one in a trade, keep or sell/trade for a 17/19?
  10. I made a Camelback/Platypus line cover out of 550 cord. The one I had originally went missing so I made a new one out of the 550 cord so that I would have a decent amount of line with me at all times, and have a dark cover like originally. Since nothing stands out more than a blue line running over your shoulder. I'll try to upload a picture here in a few minutes.[/img]
  11. That's a good deal. Guess Sarco's reputation is true about being optimistic when it comes to what they define as good, very good, excellent. Though for 20 years old that guns not in bad shape in the slightest.

From what I've heard it will go clean through quite a lot. As a friend put it, "I was told if I see that thing get to cover because it isn't just some plastic gun."
  13. The magazine would be a little bit hard to remove and change if it were that tight. I would worry more about using the mag as a grip because you can push the rounds into the feedlips with pushing on the mag, which can in turn damage them or cause jams.
  14. Being completely honest, I have never been much of a Glock person but one of my police friends has convinced me and I was looking at getting one. Hey now, no pot stirring lol.
  15. I'm in if there's room for another. Just name a time and place.
  16. The G19/17 seems to be the way to go.
  17. In a half serious tone, it might depend in that case how many times they were shot. With a shotgun hopefully you only had to fire a single shot against each invader, but with a Mac-10 if they were each shot 15 times or something that might look really bad.
  18. That's what I was thinking as well... I mean you could chop the barrel and such down and put a pistol grip only on it, but still just a tad large.
  19. Personally I think the most difficult part is dealing with the pins for the front sight post, but they make a jig that makes it easy to do. Other than that it's not hard.
  20. If you could choose one Glock, which one would you choose and why? I'm asking out of interest with no specifics in mind.
  21. Okay great. I'm not really sure which pieces to which you're referring so a picture would be greatly appreciated. I spent quite a while trying to figure it out but nothing worked so I just ended up putting the wood forearm back on for the time being.
  22. Surefire magazines when you just have to have 60 or a hundred rounds in one magazine.
  23. I would go the build your own route. It really isn't hard to do and can be a lot cheaper. It also allows you to have a gun that really suits your wants and needs from the start.
  24. I have a Remington 870 Police Magnum from 1970 and have replaced the wood furniture with the Blackhawk Knoxx stock and forearm. The problem though is that it seems like the new forearm doesn't want to go on correctly, and seems to make the pump bind when you go pump it. Is this because of a change in design of the forearm tube and arms, or just needing to file out some of the inside of the new forearm.
