  1. I think he probably got blown into the next county, into that same river as it meandered back around, and was then rescued. It’s the only reasonable explanation.
  2. 12. It saved the Smith and Wesson model 29. “What erupted immediately after that wasn’t the roar of a .44 Mag., but a frenzied public clamoring for an S&W Model 29-which, at that time, really was the most powerful commercially made handgun in the world. The sudden nationwide desire to own a .44 Mag. took S&W by surprise, as prior to the release of “Dirty Harry,” demand for the bulky, hard-recoiling handgun had fallen so low that the Model 29-though still cataloged-was out of production. Then, overnight the Model 29 was on everybody’s “most wanted” list. As a result, Model 29s were selling for as much as three times their suggested retail price of $194-when they could be found.” https://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2013/7/23/dirty-harrys-model-29-americas-shooting-star/
  3. Rick’s completely impossible survival made Glen’s dumpster get away totally believable.
  4. Is that the magic rust potion you posted about earlier?
  5. And here I was thinking you might be getting a little bit normal.
  6. It's not a party until the law shows up.
  7. Lol, if anything gets high off CBD it would be an anamoly no scientist could explain.
  8. Brownell's has them on sale for $28.49. https://www.brownells.com/magazines/handgun-magazines/magazines/model-17-34-9mm-33-round-magazines-prod71433.aspx
  9. I’m a Kroil man. Squirt in on and let it work it’s magic. It takes patience. Many of the other recommendations are going to destroy the stock.
  10. What kinda clips you gonna run?
  11. Lots of good shooting left in that one as long as it doesn’t come apart.
  12. Finns scrubbed any marking there might be on the top of the receiver but usually left the ones under the tang alone. You can usually tell by what is there.
  13. So who made your receiver? Many of them are pre ‘98, as in 1898 and therefore antiques.
  14. You could build an electrolysis tank and remove the rust scientific like but it would remove the bluing as well...if that’s a concern at this point.
  15. No. M44 barrels are around 20”. Do you have something other in mind than putting together a rifle? BTW, an M39 receiver is in fact a Mosin 91 receiver. That’s who the Finns got them from, by force.
  16. Pushing $300 seems to be the new norm.
  17. Kinda looks like something from one of those WWII metal detecting videos on Youtube.
  18. Apparently this no more 50 rounds boxes of the good stuff for us peasants foolishness started recently, like last week.
  19. SGAMMO sells Federal HST in 50 round boxes at very nice prices.
  20. I’m currently a fan of Federal HST. It has proven very effective in all my situations.
  21. I was thinking the same thing. Don’t go cheap on a revolver.
  22. They’ve had that deal for a couple of months now. I’ve been waiting to see how low they are willing to go before I order. Btw, Walmart sells 150 rounds boxes of the same stuff for $27 something. After tax it’s exaclty $10 for 50 rounds in Knoxville with the bonus of immediate gratification.
  23. Are Dockers still a thing?
