In the past many retailers lumped C&R FFL's in with regular FFL's and offered the same discounts.   Kinda like a professional courtesy I guess...your LGS does not always call up some wholesaler to provide all their inventory, they buy it from places like Midway, PSA, etc., etc.

Isn't the Franklin/Brentwood area the type where consumers generally throw money around without asking questions?  I'm no expert on Middle TN but was always under that impression.

I hope they choke on every last round and go out of business.  Even the gunshow douchebags only charge $50 bucks for it, assuming this is the Scorpion brand.  Regardless, if I am ever in that part of town I can guarantee you I will not be stopping by, and I love going to gun stores when travelling about the state.

  I used two pieces of 3/4" plywood.  One snug piece between the takedown lugs with another across the stop sandwiched in a vise.   Disregard any cracking sounds you hear, it's just the plywood compressing.  :lol:

  I understand you may not be trying to fan the flames but that is exactly what posts like this do.  Some ignorant fools will read this hunting for ammo and think they'll never be able to get it again.  Therefore they buy it all up.  Retailers face a run on stock, wholesalers cant' keep up then start raising prices, etc., etc.  Not to mention just plain greed that gets factored into it all.   Has the .22 famine not been enough of a lesson of how this all works?  Haven't we been through this enough?   Russia is NOT going to cut off the shipments of anything to this country.  If there is a shortage it will come from trade sanctions and import restrictions imposed by the US guvment and primarily hysterical gun owners.

My understanding is the stuff in  50 rounds boxes is made in Italy by Fiocchi.  I'll never know because the price is ridiculous for 9mm, even at WalMart.  The 100 round Bosnian jars are barely tolerable at the price they charge.  Either way I've got a couple and will shoot them up when it's their time in the rotation.

I have a couple of the 100 rnd "jars" WalMart has been selling but have not broken into it yet. I believe it's made in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Igman ammunition factory.   That's all I got.
