The three you mention are acceptable.  Since we're back at everyone gets a say in how the country is run how do we get people to actively participate and actually show an interest in government and the decisions they make on our behalf?   As you mentioned earlier, simple property ownership or vested interest in some similar tangible asset would preclude many TGO members.  I submit an equal if not great number do not even vote based on comments during election seasons and local/national averages.

How about we compromise and say anyone receiving any type of direct government assistance is not allowed to vote.  Social Security benefits for seniors doesn't count.  They paid all that money their entire lives with the expectation of a return so it is in fact a retirement account, not welfare.

  I would have no problem with that.  Pay a mortgage or produce a deed and you get to vote.

I am thoroughly convinced the comments section on KNS' and every other newpaper website will one day cause an aneurysm to burst in my head.   Most of the Perspective section of today's print edition is devoted to "taking a look at both sides of the debate".  Whatever.  It was about 75% pro-control.

I always fancied a 7.62x39 bolt gun due to a previous life's ammo cost and availability.  If I'm not mistaken Remington and CZ both offered one a few years ago.   That's all I got.  ;)

If never been this excited to spend $28.24 per cube of ammo in my life.  At least the ammo can cuts the burn a little.  :D
