  1. Ya know I've considered making a straight razor or two from time to time. I'd have to send them all to Willis for a final sharpening though. Price is relative to not only quality but the maker as well. Well known folks command high dollar for everything they make and rightly so. Many have been at it for 20-30 years or more and made it a business...their life's work. The longer you do things like this the better you get...learn to refine your skills....aaaand.....spent the money on every tool under the sun to speed up production and make things more efficient and easier unlike the back yard hobbyist that has enough to get by. I wish I'd started doing this 40 years ago....
  2. Agreed......they make keeping those darn pants up over my big ole' belly a whole lot easier.
  3. That's a situation I hope none of us ever find ourselves in. When people start firing weapons randomly for a convenience store robbery there's no telling what can happen.
  4. You did a good job raising that lad and obviously he paid attention. He accomplished a great thing and will remember it for the rest of his life. Congratulations to you both.
  5. The only way I'm stopping is if the SOB wrecks me. There are waaaay to many people out there that need anger management classes and drugs. Besides...I'm an feeble old man that is in constantly in fear for my life so.....
  6. A 68 year old man tackled and tied up a 31 year old. That's impressive. The way it sounds the old man may have been better off if he shot him....you know...fear for your life and all.
  7. Welcome to TGO.
  8. Innovative.....different doesn't cover it. Amazing work.
  9. I'm pretty sure she did it. The question is if there is a photo or not.
  10. Wow...be still my beating heart. That's a beautiful handgun.
  11. They are busy trying to appease the Bernie voters at the moment and looking for someone to head the DNC all the while trying to make the Hildebeast look like anything other than the lying, crooked, backstabbing liberal that she is.
  12. A friend of mine bought a used Mossburg at a pawn shop in Lawrenceburg a few months ago for $200 and it wasn't in bad shape at all. He has his in a soft bag in his shop just to keep the dust off of it. It works like it's supposed to. My son has an 870 and it's been nothing but a headache for him...just sayin'.
  13. I had an old Mossburg 500 12 gauge that never failed to operate. They have new ones here for $329. http://www.basspro.com/Mossberg-500-All-Purpose-Shotgun-Black/product/10217910/#chart-container
  14. Welcome to TGO.
  15. I realize relocating is an expensive proposition but so is kissing the butts of politicians that think gun manufacturers are scum but willing to take their tax money. Every maker in that state is hopefully looking at options to get out of that crazy place. States like Tennessee would bend over backwards with tax breaks and incentives to encourage the move.
  16. I disagree. Nobody....and I mean nobody should be able to sit on their butts in an intersection or stinkin' interstate and block traffic impeding the freedom of movement of the average Joe. People should be smarter and more considerate than that. Of course that explains why BLM and others do it.
  17. Smith & Wesson and Savage Arms are both located in the craphole state I believe.
