  1. Cave Tree Care is a local company to Spring Hill. Their name is pretty common around here.
  2. Dusty and Sons is located in Spring Hill. Good people.
  3. I had a 48 then found a CR920 War Poet. I sold the G48 not long after. The trigger on the Glock wasn't for me. 13 plus 1 and red dot cut in almost the same package was a better fit for me. I did have a tighter group on the CR, but not everyone gets along with all firearms the same. I had my share of Glocks over the years. It will take something special for me to buy another.
  4. I’m in 29 years together and 23 married. My daughter (10) and wife love Boston. I can’t stand it. The flight, traffic, smells. My son is 14 now. Might have to take separate vacations starting pretty soon. I do enjoy the beach. I basically spent 2-3 weeks over the summer there with my dad when I was in school, but fishing. She goes sun up to dark when we go with family these days. I’m over that. I’ll hang for a couple hours then I’m ready to grill and have a beverage.
  5. Just replaced a Honda under warranty. This is the 3rd since new in 2016. My 2011 Toyota just went through a new battery and alternator last summer. Stayed with the Toyota for the warranty. I think it’s 8 years. If either of those kick out again I’m going Optima Yellow Top.
  6. Part of EDC is a great belt and holster choice (position too). I'm a standard looking 5'9" bald 46 year old with 2 kids. I carry a single stack slim line (SW Shield size) all the way to a Glock 17 year round. Sweet spot for everything is 4 o'clock OWB or IWB, Lots of people swear by appendix carry but it's not comfortable for me.
  7. I had the Sport Band forever. I switched to the Nike Sport Band recently. Both to me have a more secure closure. I’m fairly rough on things plus run heavy equipment daily and haven’t had any issues.
  8. Length Height Width Weight G19 Gen5 7.28 in 5.04 in 1.34 in 23.81 oz MR920 7.13 in 5.25 in 1.25 in 21.5 oz Yes. I have both and carry the MR920. Height difference is the site height. From slide down to the end of the grip they are the same. Will it drop into a G19/17 holster? Depends on the manufacture really. For the most part leather is 100% fine and kydex sometimes maybe.
  9. Phillip Stein off the clock/weekends and Apple Watch on and off to keep track of fitness and to get me up in the morning.
  10. I started using Eclipse Holsters recently. I've found that they are in the sweet spot for price and build quality.
  11. 2011 Highlander. Just under 120,000. My wife has her granny car. 2016 Accord with 44k. Oil change barely once a year.
  12. I’ve got a Panasonic plasma upstairs and it won’t quit. I think it’s from 2011 or 13. I can feel the heat from the screen about 2-4” away. I did go with the 77” OLED in the living room. Wife had a fit when they dropped it off and mounted it. They were on my side. Said the box made it bigger than it really is. It didn’t shrink much though.
  13. LG UHD 55” is a top tv. Model listed below I copied and pasted that’s why the text is bigger and under $500 most places. I’m not yelling at you. I’m an LG loyalist these days. With 2 OLED tv’s hanging on the wall it’s very hard to drop back a level. LED technology is fantastic and cheap (in a good way). Stick with the household names and most anything will be great. 55UQ7570PUJ
  14. I remember about 2 years ago they came across Spring Hill. I was doing some truck training. I didn’t know what that noise was or where it was coming from! I looked straight up and there they flew. Way up too. Seemed like a miles stretch of birds. I got back in a truck after I knew what they were and how many.
  15. Shadow Systems XR920. They actually have the Holosun 507C X2 Blackout on sale now. I was thinking to stay Holo and got enough of a sway that way. I ordered that last night but figured I start a thread on them since I had a tough time find a specific thread on just dots instead of irons.
  16. Fairly new to red dot sights and currently have 2 and looking for a 3rd. My first may have spoiled me being a Trijicon RM06. Amazing once I got it zeroed at around 25 yards. Time went by then I acquired a single stack and went with a Holosun 507k that’s wicked as well. As for my 3rd. Not sure if I should pick one of my 2 previous purchases or dable into a 3rd brand. I practice with and carry everything. I would rather just have something mounted “permanently” rather than moving one to another. Any info out of experience or boredom will be appreciated.
  17. I e got a lot to learn still. My son does cross country in high school. The “main” photographer parent is done because his daughter is graduating and won’t hang around for another 3 years and volunteer his skill for free(the nerve). I’ve got an older camera body. Another freshman dad showed me a few lenses to look at to get with the times. New battery, bigger faster memory card and a new to me lens will get me going again. I’ll pass on a bag probably for a while. The lens is longer and that’s the only one I’ll carry for a while.
  18. Used this kit on my 2011 Highlander. Brought them back to almost new. Well worth $17. https://www.walmart.com/ip/CERAKOTE-Ceramic-Headlight-Restoration-Kit-Maximum-Strength-Oxidation-Remover/698491921?athbdg=L1102&from=/search
  19. Doesn't appear so. You should be able to see the plate from either side view.
