  1. Just took ownership of the 7th. Glock 17 Gen 5. Wowzers it’s nice! Number 6 was a 19X. Just ammo hoarding this year.
  2. I’m good at getting things into my safe but I’ll surely get busted by my wife if I lay everything out to get a glamour shot.
  3. I did sell 2. Guess I should’ve said I ended up with 7 additions. In total was 9. I did hold back on a GLOCK 34. Actually thought about that one and said to myself “I’ll never carry that thing”. I only buy stuff I’ll use and get dirty.
  4. Just bought my 7th handgun a few minutes ago...THIS YEAR! Now I can start piling in more ammo in 2022! Cheers y'all!
  5. I remember finding a rock in the gutter and raking it down a line of those caps. Best times ever!
  6. Welcome to TN and TGO. I found Spring Hill back in August of 2005.
  7. Woke up just in time! I’ll let others have at it!. Another nice bunch GT!
  8. Time and distance has gotten me or that 4" would be gone.
  9. Ain't seen that one yet. Friend of mine is dead set on the Wrangler for some reason. Might be he's not into 22mag. Once I pay off my Dagger I might look into one of these. Dad has a small stash of magnum laying around.

I just ordered a compact an hour ago. Apparently the last one. All sold out.

    45ACP bug

Well after 4 month's I finally got to the range with these two last week. Loaded up the M&P first. Never fired a 45 so I was a bit hesitant on letting the first one go. Absolutely enjoyed going through the 65 rounds I had. At 10 yards I put most of them in about a 10" paper plate size group. Switched between this and the 1911. I was pulling (shooting left) the 1911 a tad so I adjusted where my index finger laid on the trigger. Only "issue" was it wasn't locking back on the last round. Being that I can count to 7 it wasn't a biggie. I loaded some self defense rounds at random between range loads while shooting both. I do prefer the M&P over the 1911 as far as accuracy and cleaning. Once that was all burned through I grabbed the M&P 9 2.0 and proceeded to make a ragged hole at 15 yards after 2 magazines. I did get that "pea shooter" feeling after the 45's but quickly adjusted.
  12. Almost of opposite line of work compared to this list. Electrical engineer by trade after getting a CAD degree in 2002. Worked in VA designing electrical systems for carrier CVN 78. Moved to TN in 2005 and bounced around until 2009 and got laid off. Had 2 kids and was a stay at home dad for 11 years. March 2020 started working for my city in Public Works. Graduated to equipment operator a few months ago. I'll likely never have a desk job again. I work in the elements every day, in blue polyester pants. I get hot, nipped by sweat bees, pick up dead 4 legged critters sometimes and run a 5 ton truck with a crane attached that can pick up a stick or move a car. Some days stink but 99% of the time I enjoy what I do and folks around me. Wife brings in the income. I'm working for my own sanity and good benefits.
  13. Amongst others from my dads that I inherited, he had a FEG in 380. I’ve gone through a magazine with it back about 10 years ago and it probably won’t see daylight again. Single barrel hammer fired 12 gauge is useless too but more interesting to look over than that 380.
  14. Welcome to Spring Hill. Been here since August 2005.
  15. I moved close to 4 months ago. I’m ashamed at myself for not getting my DL, CDL and HCP changed yet. It’s getting done next week. Work is getting in the way. I’ll will make time. Hope I remember all the CDL paperwork. It’s a pain.
  16. Congrats! I did that myself about 4 months ago with a dolly rated for 250#. Safe is around 425. Nothing broke thankfully.
  17. The two spots for "overflow" that I know of are empty. I think the battery plant construction slowed a bit too. Haven't been by there in a few weeks.
  18. Here in Spring Hill, 9/20 is when they will restart the plant.
  19. What time can I stop by?
  20. More traction if you post over here, make a new ad...https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/forum/39-firearms-classifieds/
  21. Welcome to TGO! Spring Hill's housing market is nuts right now. Anywhere south of Spring Hill will be an easier commute for sure. The further north you look the pricier it gets (Thompson Station, Franklin). South and south west of here it's a tad quieter and your housing money goes further as well. Been here almost 16 years and watching it boom still. We are about full though.
  22. WSMV just showed body cam footage. The officer they showed racked the slide as he was walking in and drew down on the guy. Weird.
