  1. My dad taught me how to shoot with this one. Once things warm up a little I'll start making it shine again. Sanding, stain and wax are outside projects.
  2. Didn't notice my dad or aunt in the backround, but I have that same plinker in the first pick that they both learned to shoot with. Really need to clean it up and send some down range with it. And it's the youth length barrel.
  3. Welcome neighbor.
  4. I've got two pieces from him. He does do nice work.
  5. I've got a 10+ year old Uniden Bearcat that I can pick up most of Williamson County with. Digital bandwidth is when you need to dump the antiques.
  6. I'm only take corner spots when we take the SUV out. Otherwise I drop the wife and kids at the door so I don't make them hoof it in from BFE when I do find a spot. Had it happen yesterday were I was parked in know.where.land and some lady pulls in her Saburban right on top of me. B
  7. I need some of these to pass out...
  8. I've got some Remington Yellow Jackets that don't do well in anything I own. Learned something new here. Thanks Dolo.
  9. Good guy too. Did a job for me, a putter of all things to hit with cerkote. First for him doing one of those.
  10. Had a neighbor that is a Franklin officer. It's not as glamorous as it seems anymore.
  11. Welcome
  12. I've got my 9 and 40 fix for now but the FN FNX-45 (not the Tac version) has caught my eye. But those are sharp looking.
  13. Williamson County has all of the stuff your looking for. Might have to drive a little to fish though. Schools and health care are nice around here.
  14. Didn't know about the new Lightweight until now. That's sharp looking.
  15. Tagged for crowd report
  16. Haven't seen to many Rocks in stock anywhere. I'm assuming the price point keeps them off the shelves. Nashville Armory has had one or two. Missed stopping by yesterday. Now I'm looking at them too dang it.
  17. +1 on the mobile site.  I tried Tapatalk and tossed pretty soon after loading it up on my Droid. The mobile site is great.
  18. With my small neighbourhood here, I'm usually no more than 5 minutes from the house so I fly home if it gets bad. If I was in your position why not hold it (the 226 holstered hopefully) in your hands. Once done put it all back together.
  19. Been wearing them since the mid 90's. Made a huge difference when back into sports the following season I started wearing them. I wear the monthly lens now. Just wish I could get the correction surgery. Little high in price for me these days.
  20. I've had this 1980's era 686 6" no dash since my father passed in 2007. For years it rode in a cheap nylon holster for range trips. Additionally, everything I found online was for a 4" barrel. I enlisted our own gjohnsoniv on a previous holster as well and decided to use him again. This is the one he made for my G23 a while back. And this is what I received a few days ago to carry the beast of a 686 in. Gave him a two simple requests- single belt loop and thumb snap. Nailed it. Enjoy..
  21. Talk it over with gjohnsoniv. Just received my second from him.
  22. Welcome aboard.
  23. If your doing the whole firearm you will have to meet with him. If it's only the slide, you can mail that.
  24. Amendment 2 Custom Coatings is a vendor here. Lost's of folks including myself have had stuff done by him. Not sure who to send you to for trigger work.
  25. Mine does, a key, and a long one at that. Which reminds me, I haven't replaced that battery in about 7 years. Need to work on that shortly.
