  1. Yes, pretty good idea for someone running a part-time online store.
  2. Only 2 days left for this contest, it's time to get an entry.  Go to https://gleam.io/6CXcK-UBemrU and click the "I love Mosins" button near the bottom of the page to enter ...
  3. There's panic buying on mags again?  Looks like I've missed something ...
  4. 120+ degrees would piss me off, I would move ...
  5. Au contaire, Russia has mall ninjas too
  6. Kind of like the obsession with Tula's in Mosins, prior to the war years Tula always made more rifles than Izhevsk ...
  7.   Sounds like he really wants an AK ...
  8.   That happens to me most of the time while watching TV ...           And free ammo to boot ...
  9. The debt ceiling was never anything other than a public relations stunt when Congress was catching some heat over the amounts being spent in WWI and WWII.  It would make more sense to just do away with it altogether rather than having these silly fights over the amounts, after all the debt which is represented by the "ceiling" is money already appropriated by Congress, sometimes many years earlier, the borrowing is just how they elect to pay the bills ...
  10. It's always been kind of interesting that the SAKO's are more highly valued than the VKT's, even though SAKO made twice the number of M39's as VKT ...
  11. I see they did up the price on the SAKO's by $20, not surprising considering how fast the earlier offerings sold out.  As for Classic's service, my (limited) experiences have all been good.
  12.   Actually the price is somewhat less than what these were selling for when Pat Burns was doling them out a few at a time, and she was selling them at a steady pace ...         Not ALL of them, got to fill some other niches first ...
  13.   Yet another reason why it sucks to be a skunk ...
  14.   Sounds like a plan.  I also agree completely with the drive it 'till the wheels fall of of it mentality, mine has 352 000 and going (not so) strong ...
  15.   Don't forget the expense of buying the wrench, especially considering the multiple trips back and forth to get the right wrench, along with the pint of blood for the requisite skinned knuckles.  Then, there's the added expense of the tow to the shop when you can't figure out how to put it back together, and the additional shop fees for repairing all the stuff you messed up while trying to change it yourself ...   I'm not making fun of the OP, I just know many folks who would be way out of their comfort zone attempting to do something that many of us consider a simple 15 minute job ...   I feel much the same trepidation when confronted with many forms of modern technology ...
  16. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KKD1TW/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ps_1?pf_rd_p=1944687722&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B004J4B2IW&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0000Y21NVCK817D7QGJK   This one gets good reviews, Franklin makes one that's a bit cheaper that many people use ...
  17. Having already been through this in West Tennessee, the good news is that the rain is about to end for you - in another day and a half ...
  18. Hold off on purchasing anything now.  Start perusing local ads and Craigslist about the end of January into early spring.  By that time, there will be dozens for sale from those bought at Christmas, it normally takes a month or two for all the folks who bought one to realize that they really take up a lot of space when you convert them to a clothes rack.  Many will be quite happy to have you get the damn thing out of their way ...
  19.   ^This.  You probably don't want to go down that road ...
  20.   It's the special John Wayne edition of the SP101, holds 40 rounds ...
  21.   Stop beating around the bush, tell us how you really feel ...
  22.           Well, if you have to walk undetected through 100's of zombies, it's not all bad having a diversionary sacrifice with you ..
