Well crap mike, mine just came in today, red green model,the dot looks comparable to some others I have as far as brightness goes. ill give it a whirl I guess and see if it holds. I always wondered about ceramics, harbor freight sells 2 different models that have held up well for the past year 15 bucks each. Never tried to sharpen them as someone had mentioned to me there was a trick or method just for ceramics...I guess the easiest is to trash and buy again...
