  1. I run an Eotech 512 on my Colt SOCOM that has the A2 sight and have no problem with interference. Good thing is once sighted in, actually falls right in line with sight and can work well for distance. My recommendation on first AR is go with DI (direct impingement) for your first one, go quality but don’t spend a ton and learn all you can about them. There will be more. Once you start you can’t stop!! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. My personal opinion, on a CCw a laser never hurts but again, the II is much more accurate (read shootable) then the original. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. You won’t regret it. I had an original lcp and HATED that thing. All the improvements they made actually made it a practical deep concealment gun (the trigger compared to the old one was enough in itself to sell me on it). I have larger hands and the new grip angle etc make it very controllable, no more trigger guard bite like I got with the old one, and actually accurate within 7-10 yds. 4. I think Mr Gore already corrupted the weather with the whole global warming thing...apparently every thunderstorm in Jan is now a sign that we’ve truly destroyed Mother Nature. I’ll give him a little credit, seeing as how he invented the in-ter-net and all!! [emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Appreciate the info. Not really sure what I’m looking for yet, just want to get my hands around one. The wife and I will be headed to Pegram on Sat from Nolensville anyway so will probably drop by. Love your facility anyway and that’ll make a good excuse to drop in! 6. Haven’t heard of that one but may have to check it out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Appreciate the heads up. Probably been 6 months since I’ve been in there, I’ll have to check it out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thank you both, I’ll check them out. Last time I looked I don’t think NA had any, but I always forget to check G&L Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Any of you that own them know who around Nashville actually stocks CZs? Been wanting to look at them but can’t seem to find a dealer. If there is a range that might have them for rent, even better. I’ve heard once you start down the CZ path you can’t stop and I’m about ready to start strollin!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Looks awesome!! If I didn’t have a BGE already, I’d certainly take a look....then again, just like guns...can anyone REALLY have too many grills? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Explanation from what I had been told in the past is that the 3D marking was a new government required marking in Austria and that the old markings were being phased out as supply of those barrels were used up. AT designates that the barrel was made in Austria. Again, this is what I was told last year (same markings on my g19 and had the same question on the 3D), so if someone has additional insight, please provide Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Looks great Ron. Still lovin my 1911 and g19 holsters and mag pouches. Just waiting on the next gun purchase to come back to ya! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Supposedly Japanese whiskey is the next big thing. Was up at our corporate hq in Long Island a few weeks ago and the bartender at the Marriott I stayed at had two separate bottles to try (for the life of me, can’t remember the names of them). Good stuff, almost had a perfect middle ground taste between bourbon and scotch (sweetness but with an almost peaty aftertaste). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Been enjoying the Belle Meade Bourbon Single Barrel lately. I like their standard as well but their single barrel is next level. Keep it next to my Angels Envy, not quite on par but close
  15. This! All my experiences of dealing with people on here have been great (and gained some new friends as well) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. A little Joe Bonamassa “the river” on this rainy v-day. No better blues out there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. +1 on the g19. I actually sold my g26 as after I got my 19, found myself rarely carrying the 26. The 19 is the best of all worlds out there at the moment IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The problem with anything JJ touches is he starts with a pretty cool idea (look at his Damascus line on the site) but overkill’s the look everytime. Just cuz ya got 1000 tattoos (nothin wrong with that) doesn’t mean ya have to make every gun look like it. Now - let Sybo or GT start makin a Damascus 1911, I’m in!! 19. Great to hear!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Good to know, I’ll make note to stick with the mcx specific Geiselle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Good lookin pistol you got there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Lol, that’s EXACTLY the kinda feedback I was looking for. The Virtus has what I’m looking for outside of trigger. Just curious, did you change yours? I saw that Geiselle actually came out with a dedicated MCX trigger as the AR triggers in some instances were not compatible Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Looking to get into a 300blk. Really like the Daniel Defense Ambush and the Sig MCX Virtus. Anyone have any experience with either/both and wanna weigh in? Both are about in the same ballpark $$, I like that the DD comes with the Geiselle SSA, but want to hear from those of you that have either/or. Much appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Ron - can’t thank you enough for these 3! Fellas, these look even better in person. Ron does some amazing work!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I have owned the TR3 for several months and carry it daily. I've had no issues with it opening accidentally in pocket and it's been up against keys, phone etc no issues. I carried a benchmade mini grip before this one and actually like the profile of the TR3 better. It's absolutely bigger than the griptilian but just feels slimmer and "sleeker" so to speak in my pocket. It's as regular a fixture as my car keys in my pocket. Never leave home without it!
