Well I read today that the Center for Disease Control had a convention with about 2,000 fully vaccinated including boosters and 72 hours later about 1,000 were getting sick with Covid and it spread through out the hotel that held the Convention and the Conference has been declared a Super Spreader. I will try and find the link I read it in.

I talk to my daughter almost everyday and my son as often as I can but he is always busy working but there is never a conversation that does not end with an " I love you!!!!" Sometimes when I have not heard from my son I just send him a text that says I LOVE YOU SON!!

I'm fond of Bersa pistols and own several different models. My old shooting partner that passed away a few years back said one day that I was Bersa guy while we were at the range and it stuck and all I did was remove the space and it became Bersaguy !

I agree with you Fox! They are flocking to Blue states By bus loads and Airplanes due to Governors in states thinking it will help their state!!! That does nothing but turn what may be a Red vote to a Blue vote

I agree that many did vote conservative but it would not have made a difference if 15 million voted for Trump. The fix was in and Biden was going to win.

Another issue is companies hiring illegals without checking any backgrounds. They should not be employed without a full background check. Again it goes back to people not doing their job and checking them out before employment. Tommy (son-in law) has been approached on several occasions by someone wanting a job. He hands them an Application and says bring it back when you get it completed. Funny that they never come back. That is why he uses Temp company that does background checks on all people they employ. Tommy made a deal with the Temp Employment company that as long as they can keep him supplied with quality people he would pay them the same scale as his full time help. So far he has used this company for over 2 years.

The entire issue is that we are a humane society and can't deal with the fact of women and Children and some older adults being abused. Turning them away just is not who we are deep down inside. That is just a fact and the countries these people are running from know it. We began a Green Card Program for migrant farm workers because Our larger farmers that provide us with farm products could not get enough American workers willing to work for the low wages. The problem began when Green Cards were expiring, instead of the workers going back home they just got lost and stayed here. They found jobs that paid more and just stayed because most employers didn't do background checks back years ago. Now this is what the simple Green Card program has become.....JMHO

About 8 or so years ago I was living in Greenbrier and I heard that Ice had made raid on the Hoover Vaccum Cleaner plant in Springfield plant. After the raid the plant had to shut down for about a month because they did not have enough people to operate the plant. ICE had arrested 58 people working at the plant illegally. They were all deported and told by a judge if they were caught back in the country Illegally they would spend time in prison. Last time I heard anything about the case a couple months later 3 of the 58 were caught working in a plant in Arkansas and ICE caught them and all 3 got 3 years in prison. After that the Feds pull the Teeth out of ICE Program and took away their power and they were ordered to get a warrant before a raid. By the time a warrant was received the bad guys where gone. That was about the same time that local police quit working with ICE and ICE would ask the police that had an illegal in jail and ICE would request they hold them till they could pick them up and when they got there the illegal had been released and was in the wind. It was shortly after that ICE was assigned to Border Patrol. It is a tough pill to swallow that a plant that had 74 employees and 58 of them were illegal. My Son-in-law uses temporary Help at times but he uses 1 agency and that Agency does full background checks on all employees and only has legal Green card people there.

I agree with your logic and I use to live on a ranch and we had 100 head of cattle at times or more. And if you leave the gate open a few cows will wander off. After you put the cow back in the pasture using a Cattle Prod the cows learn not to go out the open gate. The Border Patrol and Ice have took these people back and put them back in their country and they have caught the same ones several times and took them back over and over. I suggest a Cattle Prod to teach them to stay home....jmho

Back before Rockfish I did like you and used catfish. I would run about 25 limb lines on the Harpeth River and catch Flathead cats weighing 15 to 20 pounds and we would filet them and cook some and freeze some some times my mother and father wanted fried so I let them do the cooking and i did the eating....LOL

I don't have any in my yard and if they show up you can bet they won't stay long.

There is little doubt that he did do a considerable amount of planning what he was going to do. His Manifesto provides that. He was smart enough to purchase all his firearms from individual sellers to avoid back ground checks. I have made the statement several times and I will make it again. "Just because a person is crazy does not make them stupid"!!! He went prepared to do much more damage and killing than he did. The one thing he didn't count on was 1 single police officer being nearby being prepared to do his job. The officer was a blessing and a hero.

I still blame this on our Military. If they thought he was to crazy to be in the military he was to crazy to be turned loose on the general population also as well. They should have placed him in a facility for evaluation but instead they just turn him lose......

There is the first issue. He was removed from the Army for being nuts and it was not recorded anyplace on public records that would have prevented him from buying the guns. Anyone that is removed from Military Service for mental issues should be put on public records so a background check would show if he lied on his application......JMHO

I can agree with that for sure. There is no practical solution to stop it. The Feds think taking the guns from the good guys will end it. Problem is it's not the good guys doing the bad things and the bad guys will never give up their guns.

I can respect that also as an option but it would be hard to think about a shooter killing children at random and maybe the mother because the husband is not there to defend them. Most of the time the mother is killed while trying to shield the child but it is also killed. I would have the advantage because I would know where the shooter is and he would not be expecting an armed good guy coming for him.....JMHO

I have never smoked any fish but back years ago when I fished for Rockfish in Percy Priest I would catch a 20+ pound and bring it home and clean it and prep it for the grill. I would dice up a couple bell peppers, a couple onions, a couple cloves of Garlic chopped up add about 3 table spoons of butter and wrap it all together in Aluminum Foil and put it on the grill and slow cook it for about 3.5 hours. While I was cooking the fish my wife was making Slaw and Potato salad and we had a feast. The fish would fall off the bone with just a fork.

Back before my range partner passed away we would shoot once a week at the range that he worked at. He always use to pick on me about my shooting. On my first target I would shoot center mass and go through 3 magazines and shoot 98% and then I would send a second target down range and target the head area. I would shoot 97-99% with 2 magazines. When I read that the police officer shot the bad guy in the head that brought back memories of my days in the range and my buddy picking on me for practicing head shots on the targets. I'm sure the police officer saw the clothing the bad guy was wearing and suspected body arm so he chose the head shot which proved to be a good choice.
