  1. Before my grandson became a 911 operator/dispatcher he was a Cheatham County Sheriffs deputy for 4 years and that is how he knew how to send the cars without lights and sirens. He said if your going to catch them don't announce your coming! Oh yea, I forgot to mention, they were driving a stolen car that had the keys in it the night before they got caught.
  2. It was happening in a neighborhood my oldest grandson lives in down in Burns Tn. My grandson is a 911 operator in Dickson County and when he saw them come into the entrance to the subdivision and drop off 4 hoodies he called it in and told them not to use sirens and lights but dispatch a couple cars. They sent 2 marked and 2 unmarked and they caught all 5 of them. 4 hoodies and the driver and he told me that the trunk was full of stolen merchandise including 3 Glocks not counting the 4 hand guns the hoodies were packing. The oldest was 16 and youngest was 12. That was just a month ago.
  3. If your town is small enough and it was someone local they will have them on video. Except for the dressing rooms and Restrooms the cameras film the whole store so I hope the shooter was smiling.
  4. The first report stated that all the 20 agents that made the raid were all well armed. That would mean the IRS agents were also armed which is a new addition for them. My older brother was an auditor for the IRS until he passed after working 17 years and he never carried a firearm when working out in the field. He was issued one along with ammo but never could get comfortable wearing it. I don't know if a judge can or would issue a search warrant for the 4473's so they got one for finances and just took what they wanted while they were there.....JMHO
  5. Yep! I can remember back several years ago that the Feds were buying a big amount of 357 magnums and thousands of Hollow point rounds of ammo to begin arming the IRS agents. It was back in the Obama years in DC. I guess now we know why for sure.
  6. I could believe it if the IRS said he underreported something in the $1000.00's but to say he did Millions of underpaying in taxes in the state of Montana is just to hard to fathom!!! It's not like Montana is really a populated state that has an overcrowding issue....JMHO!
  7. Glad to hear your corn might survive and do well my friend.....
  8. I had my corn blown over one year and was surprised to see it standing back up a couple days later. An old farmer told me that as long as the roots remain in the ground it will stand back up.
  9. There use to be a policy back years ago that Motorcycles had their headlights on so people in cars and truck would see them better in daylight. Does that policy not exist any longer?
  10. Speaking of motorcycles, has anyone been paying to all the riders that have been killed recently by people in cars and trucks? Have people forgot to watch out for them? I worry about my friends that ride them every time I hear about one on the news!
  11. Make sure you click on the private video arrow.
  12. The main brunt of the storm passed right over us and we got some heavy rain and some wind but it came and went in about 30 minutes and we didn't have any damage.
  13. There are many signs around the earth of early visitors being on Earth that prove people not of this world have been here. Stone Hedge for example. Scientists say it has been around for thousands of years, long before anything made by humans could have placed those stones like they are. There are carvings in caves showing what man made that had encounters thousands of years ago with Aliens. Do I believe in Visitors from another galaxy coming to earth? Yea I do. Do I believe they still come here from time to time? Yea I do. Do I think they mean us any harm. No I don't. I think they are like us and just curious about us like we are them. There have been to many sightings by pilots both civilian and military that have encountered aircraft in flight and have made attempts to get close to them but can't match their speeds to pursue them but just a minute or less. If they intended to do us harm I'm sure it would have happened long before now.....JMHO
  14. I think some of the New England states elites are moving to Tennessee. The problem is they are bringing their Blue politics with them along with their wealth to buy politicians and I think they have already bought our Governor. In his first term he was gung-hoe 2nd Amendment supporter and now that he can't run again his politics have done a 180 on a lot of things.
  15. I read the other day that people from New York and California are leaving those 2 states in droves seeking cheaper places to live and that Tennessee is one of the top 5 states they are coming to. The Headline of the post was People in Blue States Moving to Red States in droves!! One guy that was interviewed said he could no longer afford to pay $3,000.00 a month rent for his 1 bedroom flat in New York City. He went to Florida !!!!
  16. To bad he lived in Colorado and not Washington DC!!....JMHO
  17. You may have a good point Cat but I'm 73 years old so I don't expect to be around to tap my phone in 15 years.....
  18. There are just some things that people need to do and drive is one of them and I mean 100% drive. You don't need vehicles that drive for you. I spoke with my insurance agent last month because my rate actually came down by $54.00 and she said because you have a vehicle that does not have any self driving abilities. She said people that buy these new cars with all the bells and whistles pay dearly for them in insurance.
  19. Ok, so they have figured out how to offset the gas tax issue. so what are they doing with the money cause Tennessee roads are in terrible shape????
  20. Hummingbirds will eat flying insects about as much as they eat Nectar as they need the protein that they can't get from the nectar. It's rare to see them when they are eating bugs unless there is a swarm of flies or Mosquitos and it's easy for them to feed.
  21. I got up a little earlier than normal because Rosie was barking at something and could not go back to sleep so I made my way to the coffee pot. I looked out the window while pouring my coffee and quit in the middle of it to look at all the Hummingbirds I had fighting over my feeders. I would guess there was between 12 to 15 birds fighting and a couple where actually feeding. I finished filling my cup and then just sipped coffee and watched birds till there was only a couple and poured a second cup and went in to get dressed for the day. I sure hope they stay for the summer. I went out yesterday and sat for about an hour and had 4 birds show up a couple times.
  22. John Wick was about as discrete as a flashing billboard announcing John Wick is in town!!!!
  23. At my age if they tell me I have to buy one I will just quit driving all together since I have not drove the Jeep in 5 months. I will pay insurance on it and tag it one more time and pass it down to my son after that.
  24. We pay a gas tax when we buy gas. I wonder if they have a tax on the electric people pay that own an EV?
  25. That could be a matter of opinion. GOD is still in my heart and my house. Also I don't actually hate anyone. There are people who I don't care to associate with but I don't hate them. They just have different beliefs than mine....JMHO
