Some of my friends and family say that I spend entirely to much money on wild bird foods. I went through 100 lbs of seed feed for my seed eating winter birds that I put 5 feeders up for each year and my deck has a breakfast nook with a table and I put seed on the table for the Doves because they can't or won't use the feeders. I have counted 16 Doves at one time on the nook. The Cardinals and Blue Jays use the nook also when the Doves are gone. So between the seed I buy and the Sugar I buy for the Hummers last year I spent about $250.00-300.00 but it is well worth it with the enjoy I get watching them.

Don't worry about how much they cost or where you got them.. As long as they have Nectar or Sugar Water in them the birds won't care about the feeder price.....lol

There is just something about a car that is smarter than me that keeps me from looking to buy anything newer and I will just keep my 96 model Cherokee since I only drive about 50 miles a month these days.

They are a beautiful bird and I had a few earlier in April but none recently. The Hummers have discovered my feeders and the last few days I have seen 7 on feeders at the same time. Then a lot of fussing and fighting all at once....LOL

I'm not sure the shooter really had a true defined motive for the actions that happened that day. I think the shooter just wanted to kill someone and shoot up things. There was a lot of shooting starting with the doors to gain entrance, then 6 innocent people then shooting at a police officer that went to get his radio which was a blessing in disguise cause that was what led the police to learn shooter was on the second floor. I do wish the TV news would get passed it and quit showing the pictures of the victims as it is like rubbing salt in the wounds of the families....JMHO

They caught the guy that killed his neighbors also. They arrested him, his girlfriend and another friend that was going to help him get back to Mexico.

It does not matter to the anti-gun people. They want to get all the guns period. If your gun holds more than 10 rounds of ammo they want it gone.

It's getting to where no places in public are safe anymore. I'm guessing that hospital was a GUN FREE ZONE so the only guy with a gun was the shooter and of course he had mental issues was why he was there to begin with. Someone tell me how a Red Flag would have stopped him? Here is a guy going to a doctor because he has mental issues that is known yet he had a gun. I wonder if the one dead in the shooting was the doctor? They have not said yet who the person is.

Back years ago a few friends of mine did some Rockfish angling during the generation cycles and did well. They were fishing a bait called a Red Fin.

The crazies are coming out in numbers now.... All the red flags will only push the ones that have not acted yet will act out their plans before the police come knocking!!!.....JMHO

I have not fished below Priest dam but in the evenings from about 6PM till dark you can fish below Old Hickory dam using spinning gear and throw a 3 hook Rapala and catch some nice 4 & 5 pound Walleye when they are running 1 generator and you get about 50- 75 yards below the dam.

I notice that a lot of talk about JFK and JFK Jr but not 1 word about Robert(Bobby) Kennedy. He would have been President had he not been assassinated and how much did he know that he needed to be killed?

On another note, several people in some posts here referred to President Kennedy as JFK Jr. President Kennedy that was assassinated in Dallas was not a Junior. JFK Jr was born in 1960 and died in 1999 in a plane crash in Martha's Vineyard.

I went shopping with me Son-in-law for a new truck and I almost passed out from sticker shock. I don't do a lot of driving anymore and I have a 1996 4.0 Jeep Cherokee that my mechanic son rebuilt for me about 8 years ago from bumper to bumper and it still runs and drives like a new one and everything on it works so I plan on driving it till I am dead.

I have been talking about this for a couple months and no one has replied till now. Biden signed a bill back last Summer that had this program hid on page 84 of a bill over 1000 pages long. It gives the government total control of your money in all your bank accounts and if you try and purchase anything they don't like they can lock up all your bank accounts including any 401k and IRA accounts. It virtually does away with cash or the dollar and everything is digital from what I have read.

According to what I have been reading they are going to begin putting it in effect in June 2023. All of the big banks have been getting ready to put it in the works. BOA , Wells Fargo and Chase and several of the others say they are close to being able to converts everyone's accounts into digital currency. All 401K and IRA's will be targeted first. A lot of the small banks depend on the big banks. I think that might be why those 3 banks went out of business. I think they may have refused to play along with Biden's plan......JMHO on that but one day they are open and the next day they are broke and closed down.

Once it gets hot and the birds are feeding hard every 3-5 days. Until then once every 8-10 days. I don't use the store bought Nectar. I just use Sugar water as the birds seem to prefer it over the Nectar. 2 cups of sugar to 1 gallon of water. Boil about 1/2 gallon of water and pour in all the sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved and add it to the other 1/2 gallon and shake. I make mine a day in advance and refrigerate it over night.

All the folks here are talking about using cash instead of credit cards. Biden has signed a bill back last Summer that will be doing away with cash and replacing it with digital dollars that are 100% trackable and they will know everything you buy and they can lock you out of your bank account just by pushing a button if you make a purchased they don't like. Has anyone else heard about this?
