  1. I have an ATI Titan in stainless and I like it a lot; its not a top end gun and I know that.... With that being said the first couple mags through the gun had me worried that I'd made a mistake as it gave several hicups... But after that it smoothed right out with 230 grain FMJ as well as several other JHP rounds... I don't carry with the factory ACT (?) mags as I don't care for the extended floor-plates they use so I use some Wilson mags. Thus far once past the first couple of mags it has shot well with any mag used.   Also a good cleaning and lube is in order as these things ship from overseas and they are nasty inside....
  2.   Can't wait to get my mitts on the D model that I found on GB the other day; those varmits are hard to come by as of late....
  3.   Only DA/SA that I can think of that comes close... I pocket carried the BT380 some but that was with cargo pants or dungarees not jeans....
  4.   And why did you hate it? This is the type of info that may help other buyers make informed choices. I enjoy carry of my 938 as it is small and lightweight yet it carries a 9mm punch so I realize that it is not going to be nor is it a range toy; it is a self defense weapon. It is more pleasant to shoot than the PF-9 that I owned; that was a snappy little fellow with a fair but long trigger. Did not like shooting the S&W BG380 due to its heavy long ass trigger but it carried in the pocket very well and fit the hand pretty darn good too; but it was no range gun. I carried a Bersa BT380 and loved shooting it at the range as the DA/SA trigger made shooting pleasant but it was too big for pocket carry and for a 380 it is simply on the portly side.... So for me the 938 is the best of all worlds to carry as it is very comfy in an OWB leather holster, can be pocket carried if needed, is SAO much akin to the 1911 which I VERY much enjoy shooting; and while it is a handful at the range it is by no means unpleasant to shoot enough to stay familiar with. Although the 938 will likely be taking the back seat as a CZ RAMI 2075 D has joined my stable.....
  5. Yes it would be.... Sadly there are a lot of folks who as long as they have what they want don't give a rat's arse about the rest of us; hypocrites they are called! Little do they realize that they hinder the rights for everyone including themselves when they support what they call reasonable or sensible gun laws.... One day they will come after your duck hunting shotgun too its just further down the list from the AK and AR platforms!
  6.   Scored myself a like new RAMI 2075 D today for 490.00 today..... I've been wanting to add one of these guns to my collection for years but every time I was ready to take the bait the decocker version would be sold out...... So after finding a nice used one I swallowed the bait hook line & sinker; just need to get it shipped to a local FFL nearest to the house. I've always admired the way these guns felt in the hand as I can get two fingers SOLIDLY wrapped around the grip and I like that it is more pistol than my SIG 938 and less weight than my 1911 Compacts....   Corrected from B to D this is a decocker not a manual safety model....
  7.   Considering that when needed the least they don't fail (dumping 1000's of rounds at the range) why would one fail when needed the most? Just sayin'
  8.   Don't overlook the CITADEL when considering the RIA/Armscor line... I own two of them and find that their fit, finish and trigger is better than the RIA.... Also have an ATI Titan that's a sweet shooter too...
  9. I wouldn't think of carrying anyone of my 1911 guns in any condition other than cocked with thumb safety engaged much less "half-cock" safety as there is no such position for carry. It is designed to catch the hammer in the event of it falling without the trigger being pulled... It would have never crossed my mind to try and fiddle my 938 into such a position either....
  10. Wow that entire story read off as what should a person not do......
  11.   When my daughter turned 21 some number of years ago we were invited to go with her and all of her friends... Needless to say I got stinking drunk on wise horsemen as there was no way Shay was drinking the hard straight whiskeys that were being bought for her so I drank her's as well as mine's......
  12. The one with the cigarette butt in it....
  13.   Hate to sound off rude but let me ask you this.... How old is the ink on your HCP ??? This is the usual mentality of freshly minted permit holders thinking that no one should be allowed to carry until they have been trained..... But wait how many states allow for open carry without a permit? How many states allow for both open and/or concealed carry with no permit? Do these states have that many retards waving guns and doing moronic and stupid stuff? NOPE   Now more power to ya for getting quality training; that is something I can respect you for. But when you wish to curtail my rights to protect myself and family I will state "No sir mind your own busness"....
  14. That one's been around for quite some time; and while I'm not 100 % sure anymore it seems that I recall reading that one of the issues reveled was that the holster was not intended to carry a BLOCK and thus dangerously exposed too much trigger.... Thus it wasn't the fault of the gun or holster it was the fault between the earlobes that caused the dude to get shot in the azz....
  15. Yes you never quite know what gun will run with what mag..... But mags are where I would start and the last thing I would do is nodding of the feed ramp. Done wrong and you can ruin the frame and as commented may even void the warranty with some companies. Having owned least a bakers dozen auto's none have had any ramp work done....
  16. Try better quality mags before you try anything else as the mags they provide are very low quality. I have an ATI Titan and it misbehaved with the provided mags and ran great with Wilson and CMC mags both ball and JHP...
  17. So far just a little ice rain and a few snow flakes in Sharps Chapel (hour north of Knoxville) ...
  18.   I've been working hard to say Norris Lake it is just hard to say it in reverse even with Southern upbringing... I was raised on Lake Decade outside of Houma La...
  19. Can even vary by county and/or according to zoning covanants.... Check with the county clerk and do your research.....
  20.   While I can't help but wish for the day that weed is as legal as liquor is; today it is not.... As a condition of my job I must submit to a pee test on demand 24/7/365 to which even trace amount of liquor while on the job will cost me my job to which Uncle Sam will pull my sailing documents thus preventing me from gainful employment in my field of choice. I will be offered no rehab no 2nd chances nada... So I've got no compassion for someone who willfully rides my coattails and doing drugs......
  21. I have a ATI Titian .45ACP in Stainless and really like it.... I've also got a couple CITADEL branded guns (a full size 45 & a compact in 9) which are simply RIA with better fit and finish that are also both fine shooters....
  22. While I'm sure any bargains will be long gone by the time I get home on the 11th we may just have to make a trip out there to least see the place and check it out and might as well go see Bud's store too....
  23.   Hey Runco sounds like you and my wife may have the same bug or you ate some of her chicken chill too?   Guess I'll just be keeping the inexpensive rabbit eared "coach gun" in its factory configeration... While I know it is silly I would just really like to have an old west looking sawed off shotgun with the stock whittled down to a nub...
  24. Thanks Guys, that is basically what I expected to hear; just wanted to make sure....
