  1. I've used Two Men and a Truck twice, once to move a couple miles and once to move over 500 miles and on both occasions they were the best friends I could have bought...
  2. Just an FYI some of the comments here sound like they were culled from Facebook.......
  3. Expect to bring all sorts of ID to get your new drivers license too.... Old DL, and real birth cert or passport will be needed. Several bills such as power, water gas as well as bank statements etc; note copies printed off the Internet will not due either.
  4. Straight away yes you can.... Get that Tn drivers license and head straight on over to your local candy store post hast...\   And welcome!
  5.   He is a cute little guy and will surely calm down given a little TLC... Under that hood must have been terrifying to such a little baby.... Heck for reasons we can't figure out 2 of our 3 dogs have decided that they don't like the sound of our dishwasher and will go hide in the master closet when its running. They were never bothered by the dishwasher in our last home and would all but climb in trying to lick at the stuck on food bits.
  6.   Absolutely.... Never solely rely on the advise given by internet forums! By all means ask questions (I do) but look it up yourself.... This is really true when it come to the little variables like resident verse non-resident permits. Such as MI does not accept non-resident permits; you must live in the state that issued your permit...
  7. Thicker than standard grips? There is both a standard and thin grips..... With that being said you could build out easily 1/16" per side by trimming some thin plastic panels to fit under the grips till you find the thickness your looking for then get them custom made.
  8.   You want that it be coated in OMG bright orange too?
  9. I guess either I'm tolerant on the water or we have a better class of boaters on Norris Lake (yeah right...) as I only seem to get mildly bent at perhaps 1 out of 20 boaters... We don't fish much but I know these guys like to be left alone and I don't blame them so I do. We are usually looking for quite deep coves to go swimming in and if I see people fishing them I go look for another; if I'm there first your welcome to try fishing it but I'm not going to be bothered either way.... Lately I'm teaching my wife to handle our boat and one of the first rules she mastered is if your close to moored boats you don't go pulling no wake behind ya or you get way to the otherside and keep your speed so as to throw the smallest of wakes...
  10. Dand and here I thought Sept was buy a new Mercury month....
  11.   Lots of 938 users here; that must mean something other than we have good taste in guns..... I've fairly large hands so the only way my 928 feels good in my hand is with the extended mag base as it lets that 2nd finger find a real secure purchase. This gun has been one of my favorite daily OWB carry as in my preferred brand of holster (the Regulator from UBG holsters) I can completely "forget" that it is there as it is both small and light. To which I find it pocket carries quite well when the need arises.

  13.   On the S&W BG380 that was my exact thought that with the long HEAVY DAO trigger that there was absolutely no need for the safety of that gun... Kept a Kel-Tec PF-9 for some time and while it was just a little bigger than the BG380 it is a larger caliber and has a really safe DAO trigger and no wasted safety...
  14.   Well sure I agree with you if you referring to working the streets as in open duty carry. I was only inferring my opinion on concealed carry type holsters custom molded to a specific gun.
  15.   Yes... Because with well made leather holsters straps are rarely if ever needed...
  16. Pocket Carry with a Thumb Safety?   (1) S & W BG380 (2) SIG P238 (3) SIG P938 (4) BERSA BT380   These come to mind but I'm sure there are several others..... I've had the BG and it carried very nice but I hated the long HEAVY DAO trigger; but I never used the thumb safety as I saw no reason to. I've still got the BT and while it is a bit large for the pocket it can be done; look for the CC version as it is smaller than the Thunder. But I also never bothered with the safety as it is a decocker and can be carried safely hammer down without the safety. Have the 938 and carry it cocked and safety on a lot in a belt holster but when and if I ever pocket carry it I prefer it with hammer down and safety off...   Why are you interested in ONLY thumb safeties?
  17. Events such as this make me sad for all of mankind but it also makes me wish for speedy trials and public hangings at high noon in to old town square too...

    Bye Bye Bersa

Berated? Never; I've met more than one gun shop owner who would gladly show you their pocket carry gun and it was a KELTEC 32 caliber.... Whatever works for you is what works best!

    Bye Bye Bersa

Absolutely but there is only one side of the fence that I want to be on...

    Bye Bye Bersa

Or perhaps a life ender just sayin....   Anytime I've purchased a gun that happened to have a mag disconnect it was disconnected... Look at almost all auto's and most all do not have this feature....
  21. Came here from Saint Joseph MI early last year..... Welcome!
  22. I don't reload but have read several times that soaking them in a light thin oil such as ATF will render them inert and safe to remove and dispose of.
  23.   Thanks for the correction....
  24. Yep and inside he used an AR and finished himself off with a Glock right?   Sad world...
  25. Memory banks fail me at times and I only recall seeing it but once on the live news... LEO's opened up his car and removed what I thought to be an AK style shotgun. That is what I believe stayed in the car he used...
