Ok so it looks as though I'll be buying a very nice but used little jet boat here tomorrow. What I'm not sure of is what do I need to do with it after the sale? I know that I'll need to get it registered via the TVA but is there any need to go down to the COC for a transfer of title etc? I've never bought a used boat here or anywhere else actually never bought or sold much in the used dept at all.   As while the wife & I really enjoy our pontoon boat not only do I want speedboat but she has commented that she would like something small to get out of the house with being we all but live right on Norris Lake. Found an older but very well maintained 15 foot 4 pass jet boat which should fill the need for speed as well as be very easy for the wife to drive around and dock as the plan will be to keep it wet so she does not need to worry about trailering it.

  To this I will add that I HAVE several times flown out of and into O'Hare with a handgun... They never so much as bat an eye...

  It was my understanding that once you establish your TN residency by getting a DL that you had 6 months that your out of state permit would be accepted....

  Not sure if it was in AZ or not but yes.... For what it is worth my opinion is it is a business ploy to a degree.... It gets them in the news and it gets folks who agree strongly through their door where they hopefully end up buying something to support the business...   Now truthfully how many of us can honestly unless they are wearing an ISIS medal around their neck can tell a Muslim from a Mexican? A couple guys I work with one being half Japanese and half Hungarian is forever being miss ID'ed as a Mexican and the other is Mexican with lots of tats and jewelry that you would wear is of Middle Eastern descent.

I live in a very quite and deeply rural HOA with limited residents so it has very little traffic and I've found these guys to be quite bold in that they will sun themselves in the street and don't make much effort if any to get out of the road even when you turn around in your UTV and go check them out.... 

I would have to think that the deciding factors must really be where and what duty your pulling? I can't see infantry having much use for a sidearm when they are carrying an M4 around. Lots of extra weight and clumsy with all their other gear.

  Wanted to ask to make double dang sure to be well armed when we walk into the DMV... jk   One needs to bring more than just their drivers license for ID correct? Besides the DL we need either the likes of a passport or birth certificate right? Both the wife and I have our apps in, and our class passed so we will be going visit the DMV on my next trip home off ship... And do the take Credit Cards as I see they don't take checks? What up with dat?

Truthfully I'm enjoying my little 18-foot pontoon more than I ever enjoyed motorcycles and I've owned bikes for better than 33 years and worked on ships for just as long so you would think I've have enough of boats.... Pontoons have open decks, lots of seating and cupholders.... Did I mention cupholders glorious cupholders a grand total of 11 of them all just right for holding the libations of your choice.... And with at least 16 marinas that sell beer and food all within a hour of each other I'm thinking that I've all but died and gone to heaven since moving to Norris Lake and keeping a boat in the water a mear mile from the house; pack a cooler and jump in the electric cart down to the boat....   Did I mention I've got an 2001 KAWASAKI ZG1000 CONCOURS highly modded and in super nice shape for sale?

Window Units were meant to be hung out the window... Barring that break out a saw and hammer and frame out a hole in the wall that you can slide it through....
