If your wife will not quit "forgetting" to carry on her person then there truly is no safe "accessible" location in a car that could have kids roaming around in it. Sure you can put some sort of vault in the van but that only serves as a storage location and will do you/her no good in a time of need....

  And exactly how does not having an HCP dissuade one from carrying in the first place?

I'm not Knoxville but it is the largest city nearest to me as I'm in Sharps Chapel which is in Union county; we do most of our shopping in the north Knoxville Halls/Crossroads area....  

  The VA Buyer more than likely has been told there are other offers on the table and they are trying you lure the seller their direction... As long as the loan is for less than the house appraises for the leader does not "really" care what the asking price or what you pay for it.... From what I've been told from a co-worker is that his VA backed loan was worlds easier than the conventional loan we accquired near the same time. He has a marginal 700 credit score and jumped through no hoops whereas I have an 800+ and needed so much info I all but needed a note from my dead mother....   When I listed my house there were offers the same day as listing with the same buyer bumping their offe rseveral times to above asking price when they were told I had other offers. I took a cash offer of 5K less than asking as they offered CASH with no further inspection needed and ASAP closing.... We had cash in hand less than 2 weeks after listing day....

Only speaking for MI here but they are listed as off limits without permission so they don't need to post a sign....   I figure that if god didn't want me to carry he would tell me himself; to this day he's not said a word...

  We've barely been here a year and sadly if I would give in my wife would have us moving back to MI in a heartbeat.... I just don't know if I'll be driving the moving van or not.... :(

My only opinion here is what good will the head space gauges do for you? When building an AR platform there is no way to adjust the head space correct? Your only option in the extremely rare event that head space is not correct is to swap parts around until it is....

For 200.00 you should buy it regardless of actual need..... I've had and still have them in my collection they are fairly good guns...

I sure hope that the ergos of that gun outweigh the down right ugliness of that unorthodox frame !?!?   Truth be known I'd not care how ugly they were as the idea of a small high powered gun that has little to no "flip" has got to be a good thing for those with weak hands and/or may be recoil shy...   I just don't quite get how everything else they sell is so darn cheap yet this gun is very costly....

  Understood but I've been done this road before and was educated by those who knew much more than I ATI & RIA are from completely differing factory; different ends of the island I think...   RIA will also supply mags from Megar (spell?) too depending on caliber etc.   As to getting beamed that is an extractor adjustment but I'm not skilled enough to tell you want needs to be done even though it is at best a 5 minute fix....

ATI & RIA do not come out of the same factory.... Both are Philippine made but the ATI comes from Shooters Arms Manf Inc and RIA comes out of the Armscor factory...   By chance are you a lefty? That would explain you getting smacked in the forehead....

  Ten days BEFORE they can be interviewed? Is that so they can get the storyline down pat? When we have an incident onboard ship we are interviewed within 24 hours so that what happened is still fresh/raw in our minds.

Well I have no intent on running a rap sheet or going beyond due diligence by asking "Any reason why I shouldn't sell you this gun?"   All I'm asked was what are the legal requirements....

Just double checking: If I was selling a handgun!   Seller needs to be:   (1) Tn resident (2) 18+ (3) Not a felon (4) Not otherwise prohibited   Nothing else REQUIRED correct?

  The only flavored shine I've liked enough thus far has been Lemon Drop and Blackberry.... Those get thrown in the cooler when we are taking the toon out on the lake on hot summer days...

  Overall what it looks like to me is an attempt to get drunk off your azz as quickly as one can with these flavored shots.... As I've aged my preferance has grown to micro brews, and spicy bloody mary....

They are also very skittish thus it does not take too much to scare them off; unless you have chickens or fowl they might be looking to make lunch out of.

  The factory mags IIRC are ACT which are okay quality mags; they are mass produced and can sometimes have tolerances that might not agree with every gun. The ACT mag is know for having weak feed lips that are prone to cracking...

  Keep in mind that purchases for family members and truthfully anyone as long as it is being "GIFTED" is completely legal and is not a straw purchase.... Many sellers seem to fail to realize this and try to put the brakes on an otherwise 100 percent legal action...

  IIRC the factory mags were 7 rounds and the Wilson mags with the flat floor-plate was a 6 round mag. Take a look a different quality brand mags for the "Officer" sized 1911 and you may find some that allow for the 1 extra rounds such as Chip McCormick, Wilson Combat etc.
