Since my MI CPL is no longer valid here in TN both the wife and I will be going do the HCP class together. I found an instructor in Tazewell which is fairly close to where we live and in order to accommodate my work schedule the instructor has holding a private class for me; this seemed like an ideal time for the wife too so we are doing it together....

  I didn't know about the Leatherman stance but now that I do and you've shown me an equal if not better tool.... I simply say thank you!

You are correct the Leatherman Wave is a good all around tool... I've been carrying and using a multi-tool of one brand or another for the last 20 plus years; when I discovered the Wave least 10 years ago I stopped looking for a better tool. It is strong and robust without being too large and heavy nor is it too light... As an engineer this and a good flashlight are always on my person while on board ship  

  Well you have to admit thought that pretentious opinionated azzhatz live on both sides of the fence.... Myself I simply try not to let the stench of someone else's poop stink up my day....

  Funny that you say that as FORD & SUBARU are both high up on my list of small SUV's to look closest at when we decide to replace our current HYUNDAI   I drive a lot of rentals getting back & forth to work and the rentals that have impressed me the most over the last couple of years have been FORD & SUBARU   Although I was not overly impressed with the new FORD EXPLORER while that look great I was not pleased with the blind spots caused by the pillar placement...

Speaking of skunk.... How in the sam hell is it they stink so ungodly bad here in Tn? I've been all over from Az to Maine lived in La and Mi and I've never smelled skunk that stunk so badly till we moved to Tn....

If they decided to "punk" you by calling in a false report it is you who would have been unconvinced by having the police come find you.... Leaving you with perhaps a lot of explaining to do. As I commented I know of a good samaritan who is doing jail time as the person he stopped to help on the side of the road was a nut and called in a false brandishing report and when the cops found him he was in his home having a few drinks and things just went south from there.... He who calls LEO first wins the cu-pie doll... 

Unwanted email does not even get clicked on' unwanted mail goes in the trash can.... I do not answer my cell phone nor do I answer my home phone I also do not return phone calls to anyone that does not bother to leave me a message.... The NRA needs money as much a Hilary does and more so but that does not mean that I need to make a donation every single time I pass the local fire dept collection can either....

  Does not matter that the gun never left the holster it was shown and known.... Those kids could have one upped BG by simply calling in to the police that some dude pulled a gun on them for checking in on his overheated dog.... As unlikely as it sounds I know of a guy (good samaritan) who has ended up in jail for little more than this..... 

  Only thing I've seen smaller is the Diamondback DB9 it is much lighter too at 12.8 oz mt and 16 oz loaded.....

Garden hose and/or smoke bombs come to mind.....

  Ha my old 76 Chevy ran a lot of miles over the years on 2-smoke gas; always kept a 2.5 gallon can of the stuff under the tool box for my dirt bikes.... Gas gauge never worked and I'd forget to write down the milage on fill ups....

  I try to generally do the same... I keep pictures of all my guns and serial numbers in my phone and in at least 1 if not 2 USB pocket drives...

Some sort of memory feature?   Here at work on board the tug the TV in my room is known to turn itself on after a power swap. While I might sleep through the power swap as it is a common occurrence but the second that TV starts talking it wakes me up....

  A number of years ago I had to walk away from a group of friends who I rode with as the so called president of the RC had taken it upon himself to design a new 3 piece patch complete with rocker.... Didn't take long before everyone else ended up walking to as sure enough they started attracting unwanted attention from some real MC'ers.... 

  Seems that I heard it on the interwebs too..... Of that 100 weapons how many were actually handguns? Likely a lot of knives, wallet chains etc were counted... 

  What's so hard to understand is that these types of people don't even realize what huge hypocritical azz-wipes they are....

  Someone that I must work with day in and day out fits this bill to a T to which he is even a gun owner and claimed enthusiast; just so long as he has his and you abide by his rules.... I've found it best to carefully limit my conversations with him as some days I'd like to thump him in the forehead... When something is not as he sees fit he gets on his "That's F_cking Stupid" horse that's when I simply walk away or close my door to him....
