  1. That just looks like so much fun to have a 200 pound puppy that wants to cuddle and play... For the most part it does not look to bad to be the baby either...
  2. Primary Choice: CZ 2075 D RAMI   2ndary Choice: SIG 938   Sometimes in place of the primary choice I'll pick either an ATI Titan 1911 in .45 ACP or Citadel Compact 1911 in 9 mm   The RAMI is my primary choice today for it's lack of complex controls and no need for a safety being it is a decocker. It fits and fills my hand very much like the compact 1911's do. The 1911's were my primary carry previous to the RAMI. Sweeping the thumb safety on the 1911's comes like 2nd nature so I feel good with the choice of the SIG 938 when on days I want a smaller lighter compaion. All are carried in the same type and brand of holster too...
  3. There is no limits on mag cap in MI and they do indeed still have handgun registration.
  4. Last dentist I was going to had so many stuffed animals in there I thought I was in the zoo....
  5.   Not to say we are calling BS here but with so little detail I can't help but believe there has got to be more to the story than you posted here... First off if you have an HCP has something in your status changed? 2ndly why did you have to allow an FFL to "steal" your purchase? You should have had several options at your disposal such as returning etc. I know that if I felt I'd been treated as such by an FFL I would be screaming their name out loud here...
  6. If you make it someone will buy it? In my opinion it seems to serve no other real use, unless your simply a 380 fan.... It is no lighter or smaller than the 9 mm version and I can't imagine that the 9 mm has much if any recoil to speak of...

    Cz and sig?

Guess I'll have to read the manual closely for advise against dry firing on my RAMI decocker, I've skimmed it before but don't recall any warning against. I don't make a big habit of dry firing any of my guns much at all anyway. As to what the name SIG or CZ means to me? Quality all metal guns right up there with Beretta ect. I really like my RAMI a lot over the dozen or so guns I've had or have, same to be said for the SIG 938 too....
  8. Yep the one trade/sales group I follow on FB dropped the dirty word from the group name...... Don't know if that will help one bit but its worth the try....
  9. Ask an Admin to deactivate or delete an account...   That's how it would be done on the forum I admin on anyway...
  10. I'll just go to the Knoxville Gun Show next weekend with the wife just so we have something to do out of the house....
  11. Might look into these http://strikeplatelock.com/ they appear to make an entrance door a lot harder to bust open.....
  12. Don't cats deposit their claymores in the direct pathway to the bathroom?
  13. Let me ask you this when is the last time or have you ever bothered with practicing for a fire in the home? If your answer is never then your really over thinking this.... The basic premise in most any emergency situation is to have a central gathering point if able so that you the Sheepdog can decide what to do with your flock from there.   "Since I have my CC and have purchased several protection devices"   And just what are these protection devices?
  14. Yes there has got to be something fishy about this story because it stinks... Like Dirtshooter said is reads all but trollish...
  15. Your Google Fu must really be broken....   As Far As I Know
  16. Welcome JD,   Glad your here.... Also moved to TN from the Saint Joseph MI area... Still a member of the MGO forum too.
  17. While Daddy didn't much like us playing with gas he'd get really PO'ed when he caught us playing with the molten alum..... :woohoo:
  18.   Growing up in south LA I found the only way to kill off a fire ant mound was to use a long piece of rod/pipe to poke a deep hole in the mound, pour some gas down the hole and wait a few minutes for the gas to soak into the mound underground. Toss a match to it and set the buggers on fire! The key is the hole allows the gas to soak down into the mound and the fire follows the gas... Bastards would just move their mound around if you was using poison but not with gas and fire....
  19.   Just warms the heart seeing folks go out of their way to help a critter out.... You can see by look in that dogs eyes that she just wants a family to call her own... Good on you and god bless...
  20.   Sweet Jesus if someone did me that I'd be hard pressed not to return in kind....

The safety on my 938 has a very solid snap/detent, I've carried it OWB for a number of years without issue. In the 9 mm the recoil is sharp but it is very well managed for its size due to its all metal frame... The 238 (380) is a pussy cat due to the lock breach design which helps absorb recoil and stop limp wrist failures.

Here's what I see offhand comparing spec's that the the Baby is no baby... It is a TANK weighting in at 1.5 pounds verse a 938 at one pound... The baby is also quite large compared to either of the SIG's...I have a 938 and sometimes still pocket carry it, don't think you could pocket carry the Baby... The SIG's come with very good night sights and RIA is known to use their own hard to find cut on sights. I have a Citadel (made by RIA) at home that needs a front sight for this very reason.   Also I've shot a 238 and it is an all but SWEET shooter too....

Then by all means stick to the 1911 platform then....     I'd suggest looking at the SIG 238 and/or the 938 too....
