  1. My large employer monitors the web for their name, so I'll PM you their name. They have changed nothing.
  2. Knocked off by Dracula on a pirate ship. That'd be cool!
  3. I think the 6th one is saying, "Don't crap on the floor and then toss it in the toilet."
  4. Yes, in your first post I inferred the indifference you have towards the employees' well-being which is so prevalent amongst employers today, and is one of the reasons that we still have unions in power that drive up our costs as consumers. I also think that this attitude of the employers/supervisors is ONE of the reasons that we have the all too frequent workplace violence over the past decade or so.   I'm not speaking of dealing with a situation as TNGuy stated. I also have no doubt that Beretta will do what's in their best interest, and apparently moving their HQ does not do so at this time. When I was an employer I felt that it was my responsibility to take care of the people who did their jobs and who made me money in the process, and not treat them as though they were as disposable as a diaper.
  5. It's one thing to say it; it's another thing to live it. Would you feel that way if it was YOUR job in this economy?
  6. So to heck with their existing employees in the HQ who probably did NOT support the law? Move or lose your job?
  7. It carries as much weight as the Catholic Church's do.
  8. Ding, ding, ding!   EDIT: Perhaps those jurisdictions should charge the pope and others with conspiracy on all of those crimes?
  9. Maryland doesn't care; it's for the children!
  10. I think it's a great idea if it pans out! All the luck in the world to them.
  11. When the president comes to Nashville they place snipers on the huge hanger seen in the picture and on top of the Dell building. I wonder if they fight the urge to place one in Oblamo's ass on occasion?
  12. Not likely.
  13. No, semen.
  14. The school was chosen because of its dramatic turnaround. I preferred that he stayed home.
  15. So, I wonder how many TGO members will end up being amongst the 300?
  16. I can't do that now; I'm married. :)
  17. I did vote against Corker last time. It did no good. :(
  18. I expected nothing less from a weaselpuss governor.
  19. That was biblical times. I'll pass! :)
  20. Excellent! Thanks for posting this. Semper Fi!!
  21. Good catch! For a 1,000 ft roll it jumps from about $180 for regular Cat6 to $726 for plenum-rated at MRSP.
  22. So it isn't overkill on the cabling at all. I thought maybe they were hitting you with 10GbE cabling just because, and that we could soon see 10 GbE to the desktop. Most of the cost is labor, and distances come into play with that. I assume that you have a PoE switch already, or that you are using a midspan off of standard switch for the PoE since it is not indicated above?   To be clear, I am not a cabling guy, but I am a technical pre-sales consultant for networking equipment, so I have to know my Layer 1 too to advise business customers on what to purchase and have installed.
  23. Are they core switch to access switches in those offices, or are they switch in the server room to individual nodes in those offices? What kind of cabling are they quoting...Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7?
  24. Who's the company that shot you a high price. Beacon is the only one that I know of.
  25. http://www.kshb.com/dpp/news/crime/frank-warren-littrell-held-in-connection-with-claycomo-shooting   The victim, Ray Littrell, was a friend of my FIL who is naturally upset and it thus upsets my wife. The report says that it was over tools, but in reality it was because of the grandchild's welfare having a drug addict for a father. It's a good thing that his son's .40 caliber pistol only had 8 shots or he would have shot his brother, Chris, too. I guess addicts don't plan too well. This happened in the town in which I was a LEO from 1989 to 1993. I had spoken with the victim several times for run of the mill things like his business doors left unlocked and whatnot, but that's the extent of my relationship with him. My FIL's sewing machine shop was next to Ray's shop, and he worked with Ray having painted several of his race cars.   Clay County is pretty free with the death penalty in such matters,so I'm sure sonny-boy will get what's coming to him...eventually.
