  1. And which "science" would that be? I ask because "science" has been giving us conflicting information. Example: We were told that the virus is genetically stable making an eventual vaccine possible, but other reports say it's mutating easily like a cold virus does. I also find it humorous that people will throw out the word "science" as if that is the trump card of truth. Scientists are wrong a lot. Scientist are all about shouting their theories and mumbling their retractions, and when you call them on it they simply say, "We were acting on the best evidence that we had at the time." They've even gone as far as to preempt being wrong by removing "scientific laws" from their verbiage so that they are covered in the event they are later proven wrong, or to justify a hypothesis like, "Gravity didn't exist in the singularity." Science has even replaced religion for many people, and they don't even realize it. For example, they preach that all of the matter in the universe was compressed into a singularity, and that thermodynamics and gravity didn't exist. Many don't question this because scientists said it was so, but those same people will attack people of faith for doing the same thing. Their god is science, and they'll believe ANYTHING as long as the word "science" is attached to it. Don't get me wrong: science is mostly good, but it is not absolute.
  2. I would remind folks that wearing even an N95 mask that is properly fitted is NOT going to 100% keep you from getting the virus. If it was that effective then researchers would be wearing them rather than fully sealed body suits with independent fresh air pumped into them when dealing with deadly viruses. Latest research indicates that they reduce your chances of getting COVID by 65%. You can still get the virus through your eyes or by your fingers. The virus can blow into your eyes where it gets washed down into the lacrimal ducts and into your respiratory system. You still need to practice hand-cleansing/sanitizing regularly along with keeping your fingers out of your eyes, mouth, and nose to reduce your chances further.
  3. You stepped in what and slid how far?
  4. Diversification = survival during fluctuating markets.
  5. IIRC, Willis does it for 10$ per blade. He can't so small blades, but the ones that he does have a polished edge. Can't get any sharper than that. The edge lasts pretty long too depending on the metal. Also IIRC, his sharpening system cost his $650 to start.
  6. I hear ya! I hate having to cycle through button pushes too.
  7. Of course they are pushing their agenda: Red-neck Trump supporters die from their own stupidity while infecting the intellectuals on the left. It's all about blaming Trump in some form or fashion.
  8. I'd say that many unnatural deaths are caused by the dead person's own negligence, but that doesn't make world news.
  9. They just updated it to say that.
  10. https://www.foxnews.com/us/active-shooter-california-marine-corps-base It seems the MPs have the shooter cornered, but not much reported yet.
  11. Wrong, because I don't care what you do with your body, which is not one of the answers.
  12. Your answers are too generic to answer.
  13. Although I wear a mask indoors, you are incorrect here. I can hardly breath in the damned things. It doesn't matter if it's a N95 or a cloth mask, I can't seem to clear enough CO2 when walking slowly inside. It is an inconvenience, but it's one I suffer through anyway.
  14. Leo Getz: They f#&* you at the drive-thru, okay? They f#&* you at the drive-thru! They know you're gonna be miles away before you find out you got f#&* ed! They know you're not gonna turn around and go back, they don't care. So who gets f#&*ed? Ol' Leo Getz! Okay, sure! I don't give a f#&* ! I'm not eating this tuna, okay?"
  15. That's actually kind of cool.
  16. I've overheard people saying that voting for a Democrat was a good thing, but that doesn't make them correct. There is no modification to the HCP and self-defense rules involving masks that I'm aware of.
  17. Why would you bother with lemon pepper and salt when the dragging across the grill just scrapes it off?
  18. Oooo, that should be a meme AND a public message!
  19. I tried it once. Apparently, I dare too much.
  20. In the Marine Corps we had barbers on base that would not only shave your neck and around your ears with a straight razor, they also performed a warm towel compress followed by a short Shiatsu message. Man! That was nice!
  21. Even bears cop a butt-squeeze.
  22. Viruses aren't that complicated being that they are essentially a lipid mosaic syringe loaded with DNA/RNA. Your method would take a lot more time as evidenced by the reports of it "living" on various surfaces for hours to days because the surface in the mask, or on your dash, do not contain a surfactant to break down the lipid bi-layer.
  23. Actually, car glass is designed to block UV light which is what kills various viruses and bacteria.
  24. Technical correction: there is no such thing as virus spores. They are looking for the virus itself. Mold forms spores.
  25. I'd bet that you've thought with your pecker.
