I'm not a customer so I couldn't say. It follows the rules of capitalism, however.

I have to disagree with you here. Making alcohol illegal gave rise to criminal power. It did not lower crime. Crimes from drugs tends to be from addicts seeking enough money to acquire the illegal drug, and the ensuing turf wars of the suppliers. Make marijuana legal and easy to obtain then the price decreases and thus the addicts are not so desperate to rob people. If it's plentiful, (particularly if the government is the source), then the price drops. You know, the whole "Supply versus demand" thing.

So if someone murders your kid for being on their property you have no problem if the cop doesn't make an arrest because he doesn't agree with the law. Riiight.
-
So you think LEOs should only enforce laws that they agree with. Or that people should only be LEOs when they agree 100% with the laws. Riiiight!

This is truth.

Victim? How's that making me a victim? Never mind. Consider that a rhetorical question. I've noticed that you have a history of lumping people together and judging them all by your own prejudices, so I'm not really interested in an answer.

Your comment was plural but your response is singular. For the record, I saw no difference between MJ and alcohol other than the GOVERNMENT declared it illegal making it incumbent upon me to enforce it. Had it been legal I wouldn't have given a crap.

I like that place too. They also seem to care about giving a good customer experience whereas Walmart does not.

"...knowing or having reason to know or intending that such training will be employed for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder"; "...intending to employ such training for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder." I think there's a lot to unpack with this bill. Being that I'm not a lawyer/judge in Virginia I'm certainly no expert, but I look online for a legal definition of a civil disorder and it's pretty clear that they are talking about groups of people committing acts of violence or disorder prejudicial to public law and order. In other words, rioting. I look at it like a hate group that trains its member and sends them out to riot. "Assembles with one or more persons with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons by drilling, parading, or marching with any firearm, any explosive or incendiary device, or any components or combination thereof." That part of the bill bothers me the most but indicates the intent of the bill confirming that it's aimed at rioters. How does one determine intent to intimidate? I can see the possibility of a group of legitimate 2A supporters with valid permits, (where applicable), walking around in open carry getting in a pinch.

My trigger finger. Every Glock that I've ever had, (22 when I was a cop, and a 20 & 29), makes my finger sore where it moves across the trigger guard. It only happens with Glocks. I still have my 20 because my 10mm is my "fun" gun. I carry my Slim 9 or P320 and have no issues like that.
-
I think several folks are missing the word "intending" in that bill.
-
Maybe it'll be a trigger/guard that doesn't make my finger sore after a few magazines.

Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving folks!

When I was young I heard a couple of old timer tell about children falling into the pigpens and being killed. Don't know if that's true but pigs are animals that are omnivores and cannibalistic. I can imagine that if there's no loud noise to scare them they'll eat just about anything that hits the ground.

At 59 my interest in shooting hasn't declined but my tolerance for doing so in the heat or cold most certainly has. I'm blessed that I have property large enough for me to shoot a rifle out to 300 yards but I'm not going to do it in significant heat or cold. I haven't tolerated heat since I got heat exhaustion in the Marine Corps. The cold just plain sucks anymore! I'm not into acquiring guns like many folks on here. I have a few for specific purposes mostly surrounding self-defense, or hunting if I have to resort to eating deer. There's turkey all around me but they rarely come onto my land so it makes me wishy-washy about adding a shotgun. I shoot enough to be reasonably sure that I can protect me and mine in most circumstances, but in no way think I'm going to get into a running gun battle with a terrorist organization.

Dang! Step out of your car and get killed for it! https://www.foxnews.com/us/texas-woman-killed-by-feral-hogs-outside-home-in-unbelievably-tragic-incident

Similar. At least the Red Cross makes an effort to help people.

All kidding aside, I recognized the NRA for what it was back in the 80's or so. All that they're interested in is to raise money to pay themselves.
-
Well, if you don't want to keep it then it is almost Christmas and I live fairly close to you. Just saying....
-
Wow! Who did he do to get a raise like that?
