  1. I've actually got 3 more in, was hoping on batch approval. Others were May and June dates. My buddy had 6 in, one only 3 days old, all approved same day.
  2. Submitted 4/17/15 Approved 7/6/15 SBR'd mega lower and 8.5" 30cal titanium supressor
  3. Get the kel tec sub 2000, runs about $500, multiple mag options
  4. Standard 5" gun. Don't carry a 1911 anymore , no need for reduced size. If I did, it's be alloy frame.
  5. Solid guns, great finish, well fit. Top of the heap until you get to Baer money. I love Springfields, but my Valor with melonite is a much better fit gun than the higher end Springfields I've owned(MC operator and current TRP operator). For the $400 difference, you get what you pay for. A specialist is on my short list, eventually.
  6. Sell'em. Start fresh. Removing every bit of lube will be a mess and near impossible. I'm assuming these are for 9mm? Getting leading? How are you expanding cases? Something else may be at play. Could save you a hassle. PC isn't a cure all.

    10mm?

I'm guessing you have one of the MP molds, I have the 190, drops 197 as a solid, 194 as cup and 187 as a deep HP.

    10mm?

Without pushing it too hard, I get 1100fps with 200's out of my 29. It is a handful with certain loads. As a hunting/trail gun, I would invest in ammo or bullets with a solid flat nose.
  9. "The Captain" on the cast boolits forum in the vendor sponsor area has nice clean lead and it's closer to $1 a lb.
  10. Standard Redhawk in 45Colt, just cut for moon clips. I have one, just ain't cut for moon clips. It'll take whatever loads you feel comfortable loading in 45colt. My hot load is 290gr at 1200fps. Usually I keep it around 950fps.
  11. I'd almost go as far to say AA5 is "the" powder for .40. My personal favorite. 5.4grs under 180 does about 815fps in my 2011 and is a very mild load. I
  12. I load 160's down to 750. Personally, I like 200's loaded to 825 for all around load.
  13. For IWB, Remora Holster works for me with little guns, can be worn AIWB also. It's also the easiest on and off holster. I wear the galco ankle glove to church with a 642, it works.
  14. Honestly having had the 700, model 7 and 2 ARs chambered in 300blk, I'd go with the Handi rifle if not an AR. The 700 is a heavy police profile, much too heavy for the cartridge, also chambering was iffy at times with certain profiles, same with the model 7. Now I'm down to one SBR 10" AR in the caliber. The Handi will make loading easy and brass last a long time and will save bunches of up front cost. The Ruger would be a nice choice as it's light, just haven't handled one to comment. Option B: if you haven't considered a .38/357/max, it is much simpler to download and ammo is much more common, offers power in line with 300BO on high end. Subsonic 38's are really quiet. Could be had in a single shot, Ruger 77/357 or even a lever gun.
  15. Get a copy of the lyman cast bullet manual. I believe they state that best results are under 1600fps with that rifling. I've also read that .002 over bore is the minimum with the micro groove.
  16. Yes. I've shot a steel belted truck tire with soft lead hollowpoints, will pass through. Did recover some on inside of the tire where it bounced off inner wall on far side. Fill with sand and it'll stop.
  17. AR comp is Alliant(formulated to replace current powder with temperature sensitivity, either RL15 or 4064, can't remember). TAC is a great powder though and one of my Favs.
  18. Never said this before, "I'd be up for a Lil Chubby". Looks good!
