  2. Shooter, I don't believe the Serpas have had anymore problems then those Glocks that shoot people in the buttocks. I have have used two of them for over a year with my Sigs and have had no problems. Google "Serpa holster problems" and read a few threads on them. Loose shirts, not tucked and larger pants size for IWB works well.

  10. Quickset has a series that you can rekey yourself, it's real easy. You don't have to take the locks out and take them to a locksmith. All you need is a new set of keys. Nashvilles instructions are right on.

    Your opinion.

    There may be some young single guys here who would show Sara the ins and outs of guns and shooting sports. One can do many interviews, but unless hands on is experienced, words may not be surficient. So don't run her off so quickly.
  17. The wife gives Win7 a +10 compared to XP and +100 compared to Vista.. I'm not a geek by any means, but my opinion is go new. It sounds like to repair you would have a lot of components to replace and they are probably old tech. New computers come with more memory, bigger hard drives and better power supplies. But like Mike said, some of your old software may not work with Win7.

  20. Handguns are like fine wine, if it feels good and shoots good it must be good. Don't worry about $$$$ unless you find a better tasting er... shooting, feeling handgun. I love my sigs. 229 in s&w40 and a 9mm 2226.

    Advice on old rifle

    I waited a day and buffed with a shop towel. The roughness was gone and a nice satin finish was left. These were more display long guns than shooters.
