area-tri-cities Gun show in Kingsport Tn
FUJIMO replied to gary_boom's topic in Events and Gatherings
While I was making a funny I am 100% certain preppers will be there thinking this is their time to shine. I'm sure you've been to 407 flea market once in the last decade @Garufa and saw the piles and piles of out of date store goods under the awning over near the interstate ? I bet that chit will be snapped up today, effective or not, lol. -

Ill be there with a table full of TP, sanitizer, and panic buttons -
I've had a P99 since 1996 which was the first year. Yet to find anything it wont feed reliably and to this day it still sits loaded in the safe with a hicap loaded and ready. It's the AS model with 2 stage trigger and slide mounted push button decocker. Never had a PPQ but i think everyone should have a p99 in their stable.

the 270 bolt gun brought $950. That was the Belgium gold trigger model.

Text me a couple clear close ups when you get time and I'll see if I can help find you one

FWIW that first paragraph is regional. Born and raised in the same county I reside in today and I've never encountered any of that.

Everytime I see those 3 letters I have flashbacks of chest hair, gold chains, and a wife beater from parking wars. And that's from the women

Hipower when you get a chance post a pic if possible. Me ,google ,and S&W have never heard of a model 416

Couldn't tell you on Gatlinburg because you've probably been since I have and I live here lol. But decent food in Pigeon Forge for a local like myself would be a Texas Roadhouse, the Old Mill or Huck Finns. Depends on if the ladies want to embrace local cuisine ( which would be rare since that area is a sellout ) or if they are wanting to stick to what's familiar like home. Can't go wrong with a Cracker Barrel meal even though it's not near as good since the company went public. Also matters how much they are willing/wanting to fork out for a meal. Some places you'll walk out hungry and broke where others will send you with a doggie bag. Regardless I hope they have a great time

The only REAL right answer is all of them But broken down by "want" 38/357 for plinking fun - minimum shoulder pain 44 if you plan on hunting with your plinker - average shoulder pain 45/70 if you plan on keeping plinking to a minimum or love shoulder pain, deep pockets ($plinking$) , or decide to take out the occasional mountain lion that tries to attack you while gardening. It felt awful just trying to decide what to type about each one. I can't imagine the agony of not having them all

Both of the above is correct. That designated "big box" models with lower mfg cost. Nothing wrong with it as it's still a Marlin

I believe the following gives you a glimpse of the future. I am sure this is happening nationally because of the laws in place to "protect dem poor chillens" but I'm sure it rarely makes national headlines. I only know of this one because it's been ongoing for years and I've had several people I know work there and quit as the story narrates . My fathers former neighbor was beaten with a metal school type chair to the point of losing consciousness and was rushed to the ER with head injuries. The attacker went back to his playstation and porn. My point of posting this is the GUN IS NOT THE PROBLEM as it is has and always will be an inanimate object. Its humans and how we are devolving as a society. We are not only NOT rearing at home or broken home but we are conditioning adolescents to emerge from "kiddie jail" ready to be full time thugs and thieves and already jumped into and rising in a local gang. https://www.wbir.com/article/news/investigations/records-more-than-40-incidents-of-violence-unrest-at-mountain-view-since-2016/51-11ce8847-2108-47aa-bec9-46fc961a05f3

Thanks, no paper trail I assume thus far these weapons stolen and then used in crimes were traced back to the victim/criminal/ former owner by some means, no ? I can't rattle off the SN of each EDC I carry but maybe that's something some of you hardcore guys can do and kudos to you

What this says to me for those that leave them in vehicles and haven't had them broken into. A. Make sure the gun or guns left in your vehicle aren't registered to you. B. Either dont report the crime or do NOT report the gun or guns stolen when filing a report of B&E on your vehicle. When given the choice of reporting it and being made into a criminal or just cleaning up the mess and moving on which do you think people will choose ?

Glad to have you back !!!

Rogersville only has home based sellers as far as I know. Nearest shop from there would be Greeneville, Morristown, Tazewell,Kingsport

I believe anonymous mode is where you can be signed in and lurk around without the server showing you're on the site.

Where I've Been and Where I'll be (2020 Early Edition)
FUJIMO replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
Congrats on your new arrival. If it holds true in your family as it does in so many I'm guessing it will be yet another "daddy's girl" I feel for you on the knee injury. Doesn't take long on TGO to find someone who's dealt with it and I don't think any of them will tell you to avoid dealing with it straight on. At least that would be my advice with all the modern medicine we have. The tough guy approach leads to worse long term damage...ask me how I know lol. -
Anyone remember cowboy Sid and Sheila the wonder horse ?
