  1. Are you looking for a 91-30 or one of the carbine variants? They're all a little expensive now.
  2. Yeah, that's about what I've shot too.
  3. Wow, I've never tried any really long shots.
  4. I looked them up, and it sure is a unique and interesting gun.
  5. It's seems like I remember seeing in an older Lyman manual where they had there .250 savage load data, and had a Model 99 that had a 1-14" twist. But, maybe I'm having a brain fart.

    What's the difference in G2C and G3C?
  7. Don't most of the Savage 99's in .250 have a 1-14" twist?
  8. I know you want to shoot 100 gr. but, try some 110, 117, or 120 gr. A friend had a .25-06 that wouldn't shoot 100 gr. But, loved 117 and 120 gr.
  9. I've not cut my self in a long time but, have done it. The worst was skinning a deer about 30 years ago.
  10. Try to not look like a threat. The worst they can say really is no. Lol.
  11. A lot of centerfire calibers are scarce. I load my centerfire calibers, or I'd be in a pickle.
  12. Well, they need to use those 2 empty shelves for something else then. Lol. Freaked me out a little.
  13. I was at Academy in Cookeville today. No .45 ACP at all. I wanted a box just for the brass. None. Lots of 9mm though.
  14. So sorry to hear this. Thank you both for your service.
  15. I agree. Got to watch the shipping and or hazmat charges though.

I hear great things about the G2C and G3C. You can even get longer drop in replacement barrels.
  17. Makes you sick don't it. I'm trying not to say anything "bad", or what I'm thinking on here.
  18. Sounds like pieces of steaming crap to me.
  19. I've always heard he was a very down to Earth man. I love the story about him when he accidently started a forest fire with his truck. He just told the state of Californistan what was on his mind.
